That's true. I feel really sad that these morons like Aries_Tim are trying to bring this board down to the level of the ESPN boards.

Leave the ******* alone. In the other thread, he mentioned that he wants Brad miller or ben wallace as our next season's center. He is a Yao hater. case closed.

True. And he doesn't even have the brain to figure out that if the Rockets are crazy enough to trade Yao for Brad Miller, we would be getting Artest too in all likelihood.

The guards were trying to off load pressure from Yao. They played the game well except one sad thing. The sad thing is they cannot shoot. The Rockets picked the wrong guys at the back court to execute an inside-out-game.

for a sec.... i thought u were being sarcastic ... and trying to pretend to be a lame yoh.. but then again... u are a lame yoh... u're saying yao got one board in ONE GAME... then your being so high about dampier getting 26 boards in ONE GAME... so.. wat your saying is one game is a major difference between players or centers... yao scored 38 points twice this season... 2 GAMES... dampier didn't score 30 plus yet... -_- and seriously... u would rather have brad miller or dampier right now.. instead of yao...

Aries_Tim ... isnt' that the same guy that omitted Yao from our lineup next season and put Brad Miller or Ben Wallace instead? Hahahahaha.

Proof that stupidity can still exceed even the basest of human expectations...

My favorite thing about Yao lately is that he is physically dominating guys the way Shaq used to. He completely roughed up Etan Thomas the other night, colliding with him in the paint, and causing him to get his back worked on several times during the game. He worked over Pollard/Foster/Harrison and dropped 38 against the pacers.

Then today he had lakers fans ironically begging the refs to call offensive fouls on him, as he made Kwame, their stud post defender, look like a helpless child. I just read some on a lakers board, and just about every poster put Yao in their first team all-nba. Before this season, some wouldn't have traded Odom for him.
Oh how the tables have turned.

I would so LOVE to see Bynum even try to guard Yao right now. It could be a few years before they even have the guts to play him against us. Greg Oden better stay at ohio state all four years to delay the butt kicking that Yao is going to lay on him.

what you drew was a nice picture, but for us chinese fans, his physical toughness is still what we are not happy with as for now. seriously we just hope he could learn from Shaq how to use his elbow better. :p

I don't think Yao has the type of respect from the refs where he can throw elbows like Shaq without being called for offensive foul. I've seen Yao try to use his elbows to get position or to create space; he gets called for offensive foul. Maybe in a couple of years when Yao achieves Shaq's status.

How much IQ do they need to realize the team offense is better off with Yao, not them? I think some of them just put their stats above the team's interest. And JVG just could not stop it. This says something about a coach.

It's not JUST getting Yao the ball. Obviously, Yao won't shoot every posession, but these guys start chucking up rushed 3's, contested J's, drive the lane and attempt bad lay-ups WITHOUT Yao touching the ball.

Both the coach and Yao have to yell at these guys, or somehow get them to understand that they *need* to pass the ball to Yao everytime down the court before doing anything.

Also, I doubt anyone is really trying to pad their stats because it's not like they'll get anything out of it.

All Yao has to do is know when to take the shot or when to pass the ball, and who to pass it to. But that's the problem, that is MUCH easier said than done...
