Roc, thank you for your inspirational story.

I have one to share with you as well.

Each weekday morning I leave for the office at 6:00 AM. I get my F-350 diesel warmed up and start my 20 minute drive. Occasionally I will stop at a SpeedWay convenient story on the way to work for a refreshing coffee.

After paying for my coffee I noticed a small African american bird (I assume African American as it has black feathers) outside the store and it appeared to be hurt. After considering your inspirational tale, I decided I would do my part.

I took the small bird into my car and decided I would nurse it back to health. I even cracked the windows when I went to work so that it wouldn't get to hot during those 8 hours in my car.

When I finished work and came out to my car I noticed that the bird was flying repeatedly into my windows and windshield. I assumed that it must be hungry. So I stopped at Jack-in-the-Box. I pulled into the parking lot and regurgitated my food to feed my hungry little friend. This seemed to make him feel better. Honestly at this point I was rather angry because there was bird **** all over my interior. So I took a rubber band and fastened a $5 bill to the birds wing and let it fly away. It was hard saying bye, and I honestly don't think the bird made it, I am pretty sure I ran over it....... but the point is that I did my part.

Well, I am late to the party, but if you really want to do something positive and appropriate w your music, please only play lute, bagpipes, harmonium, and/or accordion.

I recently called channel 2 news to make sure every Home Depot in the city of Houston was flying their flags at half staff. For some ungodly reason, they were down one day and up the next.

Honestly, I have not completely stopped doing community service. I've just stopped trying to recruit people from this board, and you can see why.

P.S. I took a crap in my neighbors front yard today, but I was able to pick it up and throw it back in my own yard. No harm, no foul.

Nah I totally respect that. I know some older people who call/write various groups or companies to complain all the time.

I know a woman who hand-wrote a letter to ABC studios saying that the bald guy in Shark Tank was just way too mean and that he needed to issue a public apology otherwise she would never watch the show again.

And one of my distant relatives calls news stations all the time telling them about how she's been wronged.

I get why people do that

If a good deed is done and Roc Paint doesn't post about it, did it really happen?

Just gave a homeless man on the street corner the half eaten tuna sandwich from Subway that has been floating around my truck for the last week or so.

It was really bloated, and warm.. so I kind of just dropped it at his feet near the intersection.... but good to know he won't go hungry.
