    Texas winning the Rose Bowl probably barely tops the Astros making it to the World Series. Even though the series was closer than the sweep indicated, it still made it lose a little of its luster and really has as time has passed. No one outside of Texas gave them a shot to win that game and to see them comeback and pull off the win was amazing. Watching it in a bar full of UT fans was nothing short of amazing.

    UT beating USC. Seeing Mack hold the trophy was awesome !

    I guess I can just sneak it in, but I have to go with Eddie hitting the three in Game 4 of the 1998 WCF. I was at that game, and it's still my favorite sports moment to witness in person.

    The whole place when dead silent when that shot was in the air, and it seemed like it was airborne for half a minute. When it went down, the Summit went absolutely crazy. I was getting hugged by complete strangers while the chants of "Eddie! Eddie!" were raining down. Absolutely beautiful.

    The series ended with that game, and I refuse to believe anything else. That's what my therapist recommended.

    D'oh! That shot was in 1997, so I officially withdraw my nomination. The playoff losses to the Jazz are starting to blur together. :mad: Now, I'm bummed.
