I agree, Dipo will use us to help build trade value to a contender.

Riley/Heat won’t give us more than second round picks.....cast off contract......maybe Dragic to clear him off their books. They hope to gain Dipo in the offseason while not losing talent. Riley m.o.

Chances are a. 2nd to 6th seed team will trade for Dipo as a rental......possible convince to stay player.

I can see Clippers, Mavs, Boston, Knicks (only 3 games back) as possible destinations at the moment.

Bravo! Clippers give him the best chance to win, but we might have some more luck with the inconsistent Mavs. Angie's m.o. is the same as Riley's. Give a couple of second round picks plus a cast off.

If we take on a bad contract then maybe. I wonder what GSW would give up to get Wiggins off their books for Oladipo and Tucker

Keep him. He already looks good with Wood.

    This is true.

Knicks are only 3 games back and can give us expiring contracts of Elfrid Payton and Frank Ntilikina.
Works in trade machine after time in Feb. 27 (E Payton)......mostly for the pick or picks.

Trade them out for a 2-way player that can facilitate (Dipo). Goes with Julius Randle, Alec Burks, Nerlens, Mitchell R.
Austin Rivers, RJ Barrett, Dennis Smith, etc.

Rockets clear $10M in the trade......then expiring contracts (RFA of F Ntilikina can be renounced)
    ——————————

Rockets could be players in bids for free agents:

    Rachaun Holmes
    Olynyk
    LaMarcus Aldridge
    Rudy Gay
    Millsap
    Otto Porter
    Kelly Oubre
    ...others (whoever you like)

I think he and tucker make for a good package for a contender. send back some bad money and picks.

give me all your 1st round picks NBA. Oladipo HAS to be worth a decent one to a contending team.

I don't see Tillman trying to build through FA unless its a superstar that gets him some TV and gate money.

I'm more worried about him aiming for the salary cap floor next year tbh.

Let him keep putting up numbers. Just what we need for trade value.

Miami seems like an interesting team to discuss Dipo and Tucker.

If he had an additional year on his contract then i think they definitely would...problem is they can get him in FA if they are willing to wait.

They would have to renounce basically everyone. Also Butler is 31, every year counts. Don’t take that for granted.

With what cap space? They’ll need his bird rights I believe.

They have enough cap space to sign him this off season. I can’t imagine them sending much more then a lotto protected future 1st, or maybe Achiuwa.

Draft picks can take up to 3 years to develop.

I don’t think Tilman wont try to win next season and spend “some” money. It’s the big contracts that he finds hard to move as not so desirable. $30 to $40 millions dollar contracts.

No need to spend 1st to move Eric Gordon now, now that Harden is gone and payroll reduced.

What if it costs too much to move Wall?

Rockets could have the ground level set somewhat going into next season. Just add a few pieces:

    Wall........Mason Jones
    Eric Gordon
    Tate........House
    Wood.....Kurucs
    (center)

    add Olynyk or Rachaun Holmes

    add Oubre or Otto Porter

And Tillman has a competitive team again plus drafted players in the mix.

Tilman wants to and needs to make money with this Rockets venture. Not sure his restaurants or casinos are cutting it. Just my opinion. Tilman can’t afford a 3 year plan.
