You get to watch the Astros put a beat down on your team, take a beat down yourself, and then win the grand prize of being arrested.

Could someone please make a GIF out of the clip where he takes that MASSIVE right hook? Maybe have the White Sox logo over his face or something? LOL I can't stop watching it...

Edit: Apparently the guy was sitting in a seat that wasn't his and pretty much everyone has said something like this:

"I was at the game, he had been kicked out of multiple sections for causing confrontations. This guy 100% got what he deserved, he yelled in a baby’s face."

Sometimes video can be deceptive. The rest of the story is IMPORTANT. Like screaming in a baby's face. Pouring a drink on the fool is about the least violent reaction I can think of. Lunging at ANYONE after that stunt would make a round house punch appropriate.

These videos and this incident are from Game 1, and we've seen them and condemned them already.

No place for that in Astro Fan Land, nothing about this is cool.

Don't be a sh!tbag fan from LA/NY/Bos/Chi/Phi/etc, act like you have some, or can at least spell, class.

    Boo this thread.

The appropriate REaction was condemned because it lacked context. The condemnation would be appropriate in most circumstances, but not this one. He was not merely a typical fan of the opposing team victimized by THUGGISH Astros fans. This was my point about CONTEXT and the rest of the story. HE was the instigator and the THUG and the Astros fans reacted like TEXANS to brutish behavior.

I'm an old man. If you don't have a ticket, I call security. If you scream at me, I call security. If you scream at a baby or young child, YOU'LL call for security to get away from ME.

Not cool. We've seen things like this that are common among many other team's fans in their home ballpark.

Astros fans and Minute Maid Park shouldn't be associated with things like this.

I don’t think the Astro fan punching six fan was justified. I saw the Astro fan pour beer on him first and then he got punched when he started to approach Astro-beer guy.

if Sox fan started throwing punches first, then maybe.

btw- that was the slowest punch to ever connect in human history. I’m sure beer was involved on both ends (puncher and receiver).

ps - this is why I would never wear my teams gear on the road. Why empower drunkards.

if I did- I’d behave then take it off before hitting the parking lots.

    people are dumb.

The video doesn't start at the beginning of the incident. It started with this guy screaming at a baby.

I never had a problem with my Astro hat in NYY or SF or Wrigley (or several other smaller places). Don't sit with the riff-raff, spring for good seats.

Would never rep gear in Dodger Stadium and possibly Fenway.

The CONTEXT tells a different story. He was abusing a baby/child. The tape shows the RESPONSE, not the beginning of the incident. He was a repeat offender from reports, moving from section to section just stirring up trouble.

I'm as opposed to fan abuse as anybody, but I also don't rely on security or police to defend the helpless.

I get what you’re saying but right before the Sox fan got punched twice..... there was no immediate threat to anyone including a baby. Because of this - I disagree with Astros fans doing that even if ‘he deserved it”. If the Sox fan threw the first punch - maybe you could argue this was justified.

I had no issue in Fenway. Again, get reasonable seats. But Fenway is always full of tourists. No real issue there.
