Does KPJ even want to come back? It looks Ike most of the team is ready to call it a season and head to PF Chang's.
This is exactly what is going to happen. It is a mentality, it is bad for kpj and he can't even realize that so he won't change it. Change is even harder when the mentality is supported by the coach and the fo.
More and more of our own players are starting to speak out. Makes me think Silas has lost the locker room.
To be it's pretty obvious. Green and senguin seem to work well together. Bench is struggling, why not stick kpj as the 6th man. Let senguin and green play through each other and let kpj do his own thing off the bench. If he is on let him play longer, if he is not then limit his minutes.
I think either way we still need a point guard. KPJ unfortunately is the best we got. Down the stretch no one has the ball handling to take care of the ball other than KPJ.
Hopefully KPJ watches the movement and now pushes the ball and gets it to Alpi to initiate the offense and saves the ISOing to when Sengun is out or it is late in the shot clock. DD
Your post is narrow minded and short sighted. It takes a while for players to figure out how to play together. Can you explain this game then? https://www.espn.com/nba/boxscore/_/gameId/401468656 All three played great that game - that is what we are aiming for, they need coaching and time. DD
God damn, I hope so man. What a story of redemption it would be... All he has to do is flip it to Sengun, make a hard cut, relocate, and then wait for the ball to come back to him, which it will. THEN, he has to LOCK DOWN on defense like he is capable.
Sengun is averaging 24pts, 13rbds and 7 asst. since KPJ left. If they were smart ( staff and KPJ) they would continue going with what's actually working for everybody.
