I wouldn't mind trading Steve. It would make us move the ball more and utilize Yao better. But we need someone good in return for someone of his caliber. 21ppg is not easy to replace, especially at his position. And with his contract, it would be very difficult.

A lot of people would like Mobley gone.

The worst trash talking was when they were saying that Dalls can't hold them one on one. Since when could Steve hold ANYBODY one on one?

I see it this way... When your biggest hustlers around the basket are Kelvin Cato and James Posey, you know you’re in trouble.

Now I'm not discounting Cato or Posey, lately they have been the most consistent, but Steve and Cat should be diving for loose balls and playing tenacious defense.

Eddie Griffin and Steve used to be my favorite players on this team, now its Kelvin Cato and James Posey.

Iwould cheer the spurs before i ever do the Mavs, but still. I won't cheer them unless they are playing the Lakers for the WC.

I will be cheering the Astros while the Rockets are not playing!

Come on, man. I'm sure you've watched a lot fo Rockets games this season, but you should know that the worse fast-break players we have on this team are Mobley, Posey, Moochie, and Taylor. I still shake my head thinking about that terrible fast-break, 2-on-1 we (the Rockets) had @ SAC. Mo-T and Mobley kept throwing it back and forth to each other for Mike Bibby to break it up...changed the game.

Francis has made a lot of strides this year....way more than Mobley. Boki still remains to be seen and Griffin has made NO strides or very, very little.

Just build the team AROUND Yao and Francis and the Rox will be fine. Trade some of these offensive-minded players that think they're better than they are. Get some blue-collar, defensive-minded guys that don't mind not shooting the ball much and the Rox will be fine.

Man, you do watch the Rockets play right?...I mean, you think Francis doesn't hustle around the basket like a PF, C SHOULD DO? Seems to me you need to be questioning Mo-T and his lazt non-rebounding as*. When your PG is the teams second-leading rebounder, "hustle" should be the last thing you question from him. He goes after just about ever board on this team -- when as the PG he doesn't have to. There are a lot of things Francis gets me upset about, but his desire and "hustle" on the team is not one of them. The guy has been playing with a bad back for the past month @ least and leaves it on the floor every night.

I do agree with you though, that there aren't enough players on this team who give you more than offense -- don't hustle enough and bring other things to the table. Rice, Taylor, Mobley come to mind, and Posey was brought in for his defense mostly. He was our Ron Artest, remember? The guy isn't even Bruce Bowen on D. He is very inconsistent and he seems to always pick up a dumb foul in the critical moment of a game.
