Leave Adam Sandler alone! I love him (escort thread )..... <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/VMmp5rGtW4Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> ....... ....... .......
I actually prefer Carey in his more serious roles..but then again I HATED him on In Living Color..him and Jaime Fox. Although similarly I like Fox in dramatic roles but not comedies. Many comedians tend to go one of three directions as they get older. Either they trend towards more family friendly roles as they get older (Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Richard Pryor) or they get more serious acting roles (Carey, Fox, and to some extent Steve Martin). Those that don't change see a decline in the quality of their movies because its the same old thing over and over (Jerry Lewis, Adam Sandler). It seems like its hard to be a comedic actor over a long term without redefining yourself in some degree.
Hes had some entertaining movies. I loved 50 first dates, Grandma's Boy, Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison of course, I even enjoyed "Just go with it" and Click. He's made more movies than most of you realize, with happy madison productions: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happy_Madison_Productions
And regarding Grown Ups 2, only 7% of critics liked it, however 90% of regular viewers liked it. Critics take these type of movies too seriously. It's just one of those movies you go there to get a good laugh and leave, similar to buying a prostitute.
Yeah. That's My Boy was the first Sandler movie I didn't have a headache from shaking it so much. I felt this one was the closest to touching his golden days (no where near it, mind you.. but the closest imo)
