He's vastly underpaid and is pissed about it. What can be of any consolation? Aaron made the situation worst by his current performance, now he's just frustrated and angry. I think he wants to be traded.

I remember reading some comments about Brooks in the summer league the year he was drafted and he just kept jacking up shots.. did a quick search but couldn't find the game but I believe in one he took near half the shots. I remember thinking then he was a selfish player but as a backup never really noticed it, last year we almost needed him to be selfish and now when we don't and we need him to do a role he is sulking... no teams need players like that, send him on his way I say!

Classic example of a player who needs a change of scenery.

Don't know if this has been posted yet. AB needs to go, but this bothers me that this seems to happen sometimes to players with Adelman. If AB really walked out, he's an idiot and that can only hurt our chances of trading him. Cue team spin to say this was no big deal in 3...2...1.

    Amazing....

    Guilty until proven Innocent....

No one knows what truly happen so let's throw up assumptions...

I'm not making an excuse for Brooks, i'm saying let's wait until the truth comes out.

Like I said before.. Management has caused all this messed and now they have to deal with it. All of Morey's stock piling of assets and Rick's history of dealing with players is coming too light.

It seems as if every year there's type of controversy going on with the Rockets.. So let's see players keep changing but Management stays the same...

He left court. He didn't tell coach. There are no assumptions. Guilty.

Very disappointing. I've always liked Brooks and stood up for him, of course not remotely like DD, but this move is awful and if he is going to add unprofessional to inconsistent play moving him might be the best thing for the team and for him.

Guilty of what though? Leaving the court because he re-injured his ankle? There are still some explanations necessary before you should lock yourself into the anti-Brooks position; but I will say it doesn't look good.

At least he's guilty of leaving the court (for whatever reason) without informing the rest of his team, who were still in a closely contested game.

You just shouldn't leave your team hanging like that. How hard is it to just let Keith Jones know what's up before taking up? It takes 5 seconds.

Injury or no injury.. whatever the reason might be, he could have told the coach about it. Rick had no clue why he left, actually no one had. Even players knew nothing.

It's not the leaving the court, it's the leaving without telling the coach.

There are no excuses for leaving without telling Adelman what's going on, NONE.

I'm still having a hard time believing that he did it, but obviously, he did. A rather strange season just became stranger. I didn't think that was possible.
