What GM would you pick to mold a franchise?

    lol. I like the sarcasm.

    Buford would be a solid choice. He's done a lot with what he has had to work with, with the notable exception of the Scola debacle. Same for O'Connor. This is assuming that the franchise I'm hiring for isn't in a big market.

    lol, exactly.

    If I had to choose I would say the OKC GM Presti. He got lucky getting Durant, but that guy has made great moves to build talent and a good team culture around their star.

    Unless you have super duper star you arent going to win. There have been 2 teams in the last 20 who didn't have a top 3 player: det and celtics. I think having a great team is more a function of those ping pong balls.

    I think petrie is pretty good considering where he is the gm at. Oconnor in utah is pretty good also. I would probably go with this guy though
