With the world of video games currently on fire with some incredible games, its difficult to pick and choose what to get, specially with limited time and/or funds. I have 3 games that are currently being played; Demon's Souls, R&C: ToD, and Uncharted 2. Obviously, we cant stop there...trying to think which game is coming up after I finish 1 of the 3 Im currently playing. Im leaning towards Forza 3, but seeing others opinions may sway which direction I go in...after having played Demon's Souls, while a few of you are on that as well, it has made the experience a little bit more enjoyable because of the ability to discuss it as I progress through the game. With an influx of games coming out, whats next for all of you?
Still working on Demon's Souls, and I got NBA2K10 and Uncharted 2 today. I have R&C preordered. Don't really have any plans beyond that. I got some Amazon credit though, so I might purchase Brutal Legend or something. If King's Bounty: Armored Princess is coming out soon, maybe that too. Thought about MW2 just cause it will be huge, but I think I'll join in on the "boycott"...not that it is very hard for me personally. edit: Don't know how to answer the poll...guess I'll go with R&C since it is the next one I'm buying (again, unless Armored Princess is released).
Call Of Duty, Defenders Grid ( Pretty good tower game on Xbox360), Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, The Dota equivalent game that is coming out soon.
It's a PC boycott mostly. Activision upped the price (the only $60 PC game IIRC?), took away dedicated servers (partly to have more control in selling DLC I think?), and then had some bad comments I think. I haven't really followed it too much. I just like the idea of boycotting Activision.
Modern Warfare 2 by far. There's nothing else that will be coming out for the rest of the year that I'm interested in, and I'm just waiting for Mass Effect 2, the new Ace Attorney, and for Pokemon HG/SS to be released in the US.
Forza 3 ... only because it's out next. The game I've waited for all year is Dragon Age which I'll buy 1 week later.
They removed modding which allows them to sell custom maps to pc users. They removed dedicated servers so you have to connect to Infinity Ward to do any multiplayer, and they upped the price (where common practice is to lower price on pc games). They pretty much console-ized the pc version.
Think it'll be awhile for me... Voted "other"..for FFXIII / GT5. Of that list Demon's Souls looks good.
Ha! I'm the only one who voted for Dragon Age: Origins. I'm a big Mass Effect fan and Dragon Age will hold me over well until Mass Effect 2 comes out.
I went with "Other" because I am likely buying the GoW collection next. I do really want to play Uncharted, but I'll hold off on it for a little while until I clear out some more of my backlog.
