Just knowing what The Exorcist was about scared the hell out of me. I didn't even have to see the movie.

I guess I remembered so easily because...well, because they still make me scream like a little girl.

I was afraid of quicksand after movies like the Jungle Book (non cartoon version). I seriously thought there was a chance of me encountering quicksand

the "Are you afraid of the dark?" episode with the guy in the swimming pool. I could never watch that show again after watching that episode. "dead man's float" it was called.

The last 10 minutes or so of Howard the Duck scared the crap out of me as a kid too.

There was this slide at a restaurant we used to eat at when I was a kid and I was always afraid that this bunny would be at the bottom of that slide. True story.

Clowns, I freaking hate clowns, they scared me as a kid and they still creep me out to this day.

And spiders, I still act like a little girl around spiders.

Thanks a lot to It and Arachnophobia, worst movie decisions of my childhood.

This episode of Night Gallery is one of the scariest things I have ever seen.

    THE TWILIGHT ZONE...

These were my favorite, but there are some that scare the **** out of me.

Yes, also very bad, because of exorcist. Even trivial sitcoms that would mock such topics and make things move around the room would set me off.

This, I literally couldn't watch Channel 39 which was where some of the best cartoons were...because they had a tendency to show this PSA.

So I am a weenie, what of it?
