Anybody who's ever set foot in the Midwest know that CUBS fans are the stupidest, most obnoxious, bandwagon riding fans ever. Good riddance. GO ASTROS
This is put perfectly! I will ALWAYS hate the Jazz and detest that dirty scum, Karla. Charles deserved a ring and that cheater cheated him out of it. As for fans, though, bandwagoners are the worst. The Rockets are so good and what I've seen for the most part, people in Houston can't tell you 3 players on the Rockets. Then they make the playoffs last year and people start getting behind them. I loved them with all my heart for the years in between playoffs just the same. The satisfying thing to know - I'll get WAYYYY more satisfaction then they ever will when the Rockets do win their 3rd championsip in the VERY imminent future.
I'm in Dallas right now and I can guarantee that most of these "fans" didn't give a rat's a$$ about their Mavs 6-7 years ago.
MAVS MAVE MAVS!!!!!!! Those "Metro-plex", Nuvo-Riche, Reaganite yuppies will make ANYONE want to scream. Worse cry-baby's than Utah and they feel that their team somehow should be GIVEN an NBA championship based soley on Dirk Nowitski's He-man hair and their Jerry-Jones-esque owner in Mark Cuban with his billion dollar hair-lip....UGH!!
The so-called "Rockets fans" that are surprisingly apearing everywhere now... Where they been all these years??? And who cannot forget the Utah Jazz Hecklers... also...Vancouver Grizzlies fans... Damn Battery Throwers!!!
Wait, Utah STOLE Charles chances of winning a ring? Didn't he play in the 1993 NBA Finals, where he LOST to Michael Jordan and the Bulls? Were not the Rockets down to their final game against the Jazz in the 1997 NBA WCF? Were not the Rockets the team that choked in the 1998 first round series against the Jazz? Because I quite remember the Rockets at home, one win away from upsetting the #1 team in the NBA. Didn't happen. Utah 'stole' the NBA championship like Houston 'stole' it from Utah in the mid 90s. In other words, both lost to the better team. I guessing posting this photo would be in bad taste? Eh, I'm a Jazz fan, I guess I don't have good taste!
Oh and I agree that the worst fans are bandwagoners, no matter what their team. I remember the Laker storm a few years back when I was a sophomore in high school. There was this one kid that would always talk about how good the Lakers were, but when pressed to name their coach he had no clue. How can you call yourself a FAN if you can't name the damn coach of your team?
SR, Just to the right of that photo would be Kung-fu Karla holding Drexler in a bear hug. That is how they stole it. In 1998 Charles Barkley had a serious injury, which kind of prevented him from having much impact in the rest of the series.
