Israel is doing a better job of teaching them to hate Israel at the moment than any book or cartoon could.

The problem is when they carry over their hatred to the general populace or all Jews everywhere.

This is the stupid part of the whole thing. Several days ago, Israel announced they had killed something like 40 Hezbollah fighters (how they figured that out, I have no idea). Do they really think causing hundreds of millions of dollars in damage, destroying the homes of who knows how many people, alienating a neighboring nation of millions, and angering the entire Arab world didn't create 40 new terrorists who will join the cause?

Not to mention they probably spent $1MM+ per terrorist killed.

If Hezbollah's intention was to destroy Israel, why did Nasrallah wait so long to fire the first rocket amidst continuous bombardment of Lebanon?

Cute image, but Jews and Arabs coexisted peacefully throughout history before Zionism reared its ugly head.

Its pretty easy for the opressor to ask for coexistance when the other side is being shafted of basic rights, given the worst land, and not given a contiguous state.

If it isn't why would Nasrallah proclaim this:

In a 1999 interview, Nasrallah stated "Three things comprise our minimal demand: an [Israeli] withdrawal from South Lebanon and the Western Bqa’ Valley, a withdrawal from the Golan, and the return of the Palestinian refugees. On the future of the State of Israel he expounds: "Everybody talks nowadays about accepting the reality and coexistence, or any other form of settlement with Israel." However, he views "realism in a different way". To him, "Israel is an illegal usurper entity, which is based on falsehood, massacres, and illusions, and there is no chance for its survival."[56]

Speaking at a graduation ceremony in Haret Hreik, Nasrallah announced on October 22, 2002: "if they all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide."[57][58] The New York Times qualifies this as "genocidal thinking"[59], whereas the New York Sun likens it to the 1992 Hezbollah statement, which vowed, "It is an open war until the elimination of Israel and until the death of the last Jew on earth."[60] Michael Rubin qualifies his goal as genocide too, quoting Nasrallah ruling out "co-existence with" the Jews or "peace", as "they are a cancer which is liable to spread again at any moment."[61] The Age quotes him like so: "There is no solution to the conflict in this region except with the disappearance of Israel."[62]

They still coexist peacefully, in some places.

    Check it out

Do you think Hezbollah realizes they might be killing their own people when they launch missles at Haifa? Doubtful...

If it's so simple as that, why is Hezbollah gaining incredible popularity? And if it's only their fault, why aren't they getting punished? Seems like it's mainly innocent people getting punished for nothing. Unless you count guilt by association.

So would everyone here not care if somehow Israel could kill every Hezbellah member, but no citizens?

Given that just about everyone except Iran and Syria want Hezbollah gone, I think that would excite a lot of people.

I'm with my fellow liberal RocketMan Tex on this,...Hezbollah is a w****, and when I mean w****,...I'm refering to the w**** of babylon...In other words, they are bonafide terrorists who are supremely evil who choose to hide behind the innocent and "act" like they are doing this for the lebanese people. what a joke. Well, who was it? the prime minister of Lebanon that buys this and sells this...The symbiote of the state within the state has to go...I'm sure RMTex is in agreement that he would love a peaceful lebanon and palestine people...I want this...I want peace...

I Also realise there are many steps, and step #1 needs to be the banishment of a militarized Hezbollah. Who is with me?....

By the definition, who has committed the most terrorist acts: the IDF from it's roots as militias pre-1948 and Hezbollah since its inception. I dare you to claim Hezbollah is the w**** once you look at this situation.

Hezbollah is not that bad, they do a lot of good things for their community. CNN did a report on them, they are no Hamas for sure.

If anything the Israelis are acting like terrorists now, killing innocent people left and right.

However when a crazy Al Qaeda leader gets on television and says Islam will rule from "Spain to Iraq," it's hard to feel sorry for Muslims too.

However in Lebanon vs. Israel, Israel is in the wrong and needs to stop NOW.

If anything, Hezbollah would cause much more chaos if able by weaponry means courtesy if Iran/Syria...Keep in mind, Hezbollah supports the destruction of the state of Israel[52][53][54] and has co-operated with other militant Islamic organizations such as Hamas in order to promote this goal.

Co existance is the ultimate goal...Again among many steps,...step # one is the deconstruction of Hezbollah, the bonafide terrorist organization...

ROX, what is with your fascination with the word w****? Heck, drive down to Boystown and satisfy yourself! ;)
Seriously, it just detracts from whatever argument you're attempting to make, IMO.

w**** does roll off the toungue with tart expressivness. True the status quo sorta sucked for Palestinians, they got screwed but damn, ****ty but subsidized relocation is better than a terror war.
