I like your selection of music, but it's misapplied. Who knows what this season will ultimately bring, but one thing is certain. You are missing a hell of a good time. After we beat the defending champions, Sengun was briefly interviewed on the court. As he turned away to head towards the locker room, he said, "Winning is fun!" It is and you've already missed 6 games worth. Bummer.

Ironically my son (out of school for vet's day) was watching some random animation on Netflix and they played about 10 seconds of Mozart's requiem haha

Just enjoy the ride and see where we land - no expectations.

Remember how that same impeccable logic wanted us to trade for Ben Simmons and then said that KPJ was going to be a superstar and that we should sign him for what $20M and how that would be a discount?

If the Rockets manage to keep up the pace, the Rockets will have already exceeded my expectations coming into the season. Everything right now is just icing. They have managed to stay calm in the face of adversity instead of falling apart like all of last season.

Vitamins are for saps. Less than 10% of vitamins are absorbed by the body.
Billion dollar industry. Cut a 10th of each capsule and the rest is crapped away...
literally. Vitamins in foods are absorbed better.

    +/- of each starter
Vvleet +8.6 (On)......+8.4 (Off) (backup Holiday....dif was greater with Amen)
    Jalen Green +11.5 (On)....+14.8 (Off)
    Dillon +13.5 (On)........+19.9 (Off)
    Sengun +10.3 (On).....+11.1 (Off)
    Jabari +4.5 (On)........-- 4.5 (Off)

Jabari is the one solid player which we can't do without this early going.

Eason in his short time is +18.4 (On).....+13.5 (Off)

And for all the grief KPj got: basketball-reference.com

    Stat.......VVleet ( now)....KPj (22/23)
    FG%........38.4%...............44.2%
    3P%........36.3%...............36.6%
    2P%........40.3%................50.0%
    eFG%......48.6%................52.2%
    Rebs.......3.4.....................5.3
Ast..........7.9....................5.7 ( I said KPj would avg 7.8 last yr if Green shot 39% from
3 and Tate and Jabari shot like they are now) [amazing how that works]

    Stl............0.6....................1.4
    Blk...........0.3.....................0.3
    PER.........15.0...................16.2
    TS%.........52.2%................56.5%

Too bad KPj couldn't handle his liquor; but I said VanVleet is much the same as
KPj on the court. One would have been paid about $15M while the other is
playing out of his mind with 7 straight home games and making $43M.

    * I'll go to Texans forum and Astros. Rockets side has become too much circle
jerking for my likes. Just remember if you pack the paint vs the Rockets and make
them a jump shooting team.....Rockets will look very bad. NBA is an entertainment
business......couldn't have that garbage product stinking things up every game.

So I'm sure a memo was sent to every team. Let the Rockets play their style. Don't pack
the paint (until playoff time). Peace out.

Doubt it. Watch the games and look for it next time Vv, Dillon. Sengun drive.

Act like a sniper is in the stands and they got shot.

Make soccer players look like high school drama class actors.

Before this season - it was Play In.....should still be Play IN even with expectations being met and exceeded.

Did this guy just make up a bunch of fake on off numbers? Yes he did! Talk about delusional. Taking your ball and scurrying back home, you don’t deserve to be a Rockets fan anyway.

What is going on with this post? All these on/off numbers are fake. Did you make these up? Where did you find this stuff?

I don't think it's that, I think he saw these numbers on a website somewhere but doesn't know how to read it. Because the numbers seem plausible if you read the "off" numbers as actually "diff" numbers. Our starters are so obviously better than our bench, yet his posts suggests the team gets better with pretty much every starter of the court, other than Jabari. I really think the numbers are fine except they should just be flipped. That also tracks because anyone who has watched our games can tell that Jabari has been our worst starter, not the best, and that we are actually better with him off the court. Which is funny because he thinks Jabari has been our best starter this year, lol. I guess that makes sense considering he wrote that he doesn't watch the team anymore.

Like for example "Jalen Green +11.5 (On)....+14.8 (Off)" should actually read "Jalen Green +11.5 (On).... -3.3 (Off)...+14.8 (Diff)." Or something like that?

My only real expectation this season is to keep up the team D and keep improving.

The encouraging aspect of this season so far is there is huge room for improvement. And I don't think the starting lineup and rotations are settled.

The music was not meant for the Rockets.

My exit. I was wrong on the Rockets. Tip my cap to those involved.

Leave protesting that no way the Rockets get so good so fast with more moving
parts than the Suns, Lakers, Bucks and others without help from the NBA.

But I credit the Rockets for beating those placed in the path.

*There are many who think the NBA is rigged. No not like, possession
    #3 team A does this.....or possession #53 team B does that.
It's more like DeAngelo Russell driving and passing behind the back
to beyond midline to nobody for a back court violation. AD missing games.

I have always been suspicious of the NBA, but the draft probably ruined
things for me. It's much like when Harden tore it up that one time to start
the season and the thread came out, "will Harden win MVP? "

I posted he is the MVP of now (first two months)......NBA is giving the Houston
fans their cheap thrill.....but will take it away by seasons end and give it to Embiid
or Jokic or someone else. Exactly what they did. They are putting the carrot
out there, only to pull it away later like Lucy pulling the ball away from
Charlie Brown before he kicks the ball.

But I don't want to rain on everyone's parade throughout the season....
so I'll leave now. Hopefully the season finishes before WWIII, apocalypse,
Revelations-end times come first. I'm not arguing with anyone anymore.

Just enjoying these final days as stress free as I can. Take care all.
