yeah thats why stevie is starting in the allstar game and miller is not. steves stats are way better than millers. the only thing ill favor miller over steve for is passing

I would rather have Steve at the 2, and would do a Mobley for Miller trade.

I just think that asking Steve to make the smartest decision with the ball in his hands is a dicey move at best.

Miller is smart, and would set up his teamates more then SF.

However, no way would I trade SF for Miller.

I might have at one time, but not now.

well that would seem to maximize the number of teammates to pass to. or do you suggest he do the converse and be the first player up the floor and have no teammates to pass to in order to garner more assists.

He (jackson) could post up, rebound, run an offense

i thought rebounding was a no no. bad marc jackson.

also, you say rudy can't discipline a superstar meaning steve is a superstar and then say the clips have no superstar to lead them meaning miller is not a superstar and yet you want miller for steve. but one thing you'll get from miller is consistency. his cleveland teams won about 30 a year and the clips are right on pace for 29 this year. consistent baby.

What the argument comes down to is who would you want running your offense? Would you want a Jason Kidd-Gary Payton type in Miller or Davis or a Stephon Marbury type in Francis? Its really depend upon the cast of players around you. If you have a team full of shooters and guys who run the court, then Miller is the choice because of his decision making, if you want to play a half court game with not as much talent around, then Francis is probably the choice. The only problem, which is probably the largest with Francis is his late game decision making. All we have to do is rewind to the Clipps game earlier in the season and count how many mistakes were made in the final minutes by both teams.

I all am trying to say is that I hate steve francis. I think his butt stinks and that his feet are stinky too. If I smelled that bad, I would trade myself. Actually, I think I do smell kinda bad, maybe I will trade myself.

But first mister bias, read a whole post before making inferences upon one or two lines. Although you do make a good point about the rebounding. I was a bit tipsy last night. The point I meant to make is that you can't lead a fast break if you are the one rebounding. You would rather a big man start the fast break with a rebound.

Steve avg. 4.3 def reb a game. Jason Kidd, Gary Payton, Sam Cassell, Andre Miller, Eric Snow, Tinsley, and Davis avg. no more than 1.4 drpg less than Francis. To say that Steve doesn't lead the break because he rebounds doesn't make any sense when he is getting but 1 more defensive rebound per game than other top point guards.

    btw, Kidd avg. 4.8 drpg.

Last year it was Miller and Davis. This year, it's J-will, although he's actually shooting worse than Steve, next year it will be Chris Thomas or TJ Ford. Steve can't win with some of the people on this board.
