    I think I lurked around after the lakers vs rockets playoff series to keep updated on yao's injury after a while I was hooked and joined.

    We had three picks in the 2001 draft. There were rumors we were going to trade up to get Curry if Diop dropped to us at 13.

    Instead we got the tragic Eddie Griffin. And then Hakeem went to Toronto, and we went to Franchise Iso Hell.

    I needed a place to vent....

    Stumbled here while googling for Yao news. Before then, I generally just visit the sports sites like espn directly for Rockets stuff. But I was so psyched about the #1 pick that I had to find other sources of news related to the pick.
