My GF likes watching the Rockets with me.

She thinks this site is silly though. She likes to call it "ClutchButts." LOL.

I don't have cable, but she generally doesn't complain too much if I want to go somewhere and watch. Very excited my bro is getting cable. He doesn't have the money pits called children to suck him dry... So she's supportive except when she's pregnant (again, damn pill don't work), which will be until June... :(

I converted my ex into a Rockets fan after her undevote alegance to the Spurs. She bought me tickets and we went together. She thought my nervous eating during playoff games was hysterical.

My ex in Argentina thought it was wierd that I would run off to the internet cafe late at night (Buenos Aires is 3 hours ahead) and stay for hours. I would log into the chat and keep up via chat back. She thought I was cheating on her. I brought her along once and she never doubted me again.

My Jenn certainly feels that there is a certain degree of absurdity to my Rockets infatuation, but she does try hard to be supportive of them for me.

My girl went from a "who cares about sports" attitude, to a "fighting over who reads the sports section of the chronicle first" attitude in just over a year. I have done my duty to society.

The No.1. virtue you might already know is appreciation... more you understand it, more you'd get from The One.

    Hayesfan.... you're a GIRL?!?!?!?!?!

Didn't know that.... sorry for talking to you like a guy  :p

Girlfriend is fairly supportive of my Rockets love. She will support the teams I support (Rockets, Manchester United, France National Soccer Team, All Blacks Rugby Team...).

My wife has always considered that the Rockets and I are a package deal. Even when we didn't have money to spare, I got to go to one game for my birthday. I'm going to 16 games this year.

My wife too... we'll still need to get together for a game sometime. Also have some neighbors who are big Rockets fans. :)

The GF hates baseball (other than going in person and getting drunk) so I really need to make Astros games "events" so that she won't b****.

Baseball season=a drain on the bank account with games/bars/eating out

I'm trying to teach her football but she will never be into it and does not understand why I need to watch every LSU/UT/UH game. On Sundays she will sit next to me when the Texans are on the road and stays home when they play here. I can get her out to some UH games.

Now she did show an intrest in the Rockets so I'm doing my best to keep her intrested and my hope is that she will want to watch all the games and want to read the paper etc.

There must be some hidden reason why you're with her.

Cia Cia is cool with it. When I yell obsenities, she gives me the look, but otherwise lets me watch unless we have something important to do. Sometimes she wants me to do stuff while I watch (fold clothes, vacuum, or dust), which is fine as long as I can see the TV. :D

We do the family night game packs, and her kids seem to like the games (they are relatively short, action packed, and have fun little diversions during the breaks).

Couldn't agree more. My soon to be insignificant other is really anti and won't watch any games even though I try to meet her half way and watch Dancing with the (popularly voted) Stars.

During the basketball season and with the NFL are the opposite even considered "significant" unless a person has a really fantastic and beautiful person by their side, mutually sharing each other's interests?

Who cares what they think if they're not "the one"?

I tell you what...this is definitely an issue btwn my wife and I. I have definitely massaged her feet a "few times" to clear things up for a game.
