If we sold our team and relocated. That would do it.

It's weird. I haven't been to Houston in over a decade, would probably never move back, my friends are long gone, and yet, if the Rockets moved to another city, I'd stop being a Rockets fan.

If they moved to Las Vegas - I wouldn't root for them anymore. It's weird isn't it? I have no loyalty to the city, and yet if the franchised moved, kept the name and everything, I would lose interest. Anyone can relate?

I, for one, would be thrilled that Rockets training staff would be giving me a hands on inspection. ;)

What is the point of this thread??? The definition of a TRUE fan is that you stick with them no matter what!

I couldn't switch teams regardless of what happened. I've only had one team for each sport that I watch, and I always will. You just don't forget and move on from one of your teams, at least that's something I could never do. So there's nothing that they could do to lose me as a fan -- that goes for any of my teams.

    ~ fixed

But seriously, most teams lose their fans when they raise ticket prices through the roof, so the average fan can't afford to see games. That's happening with most NBA teams, including the Rockets.

I don't live in Houston so they could move and I wouldn't give two cents. In fact I might enjoy it even more since I can't watch the current Rockets except on internet streams due to their crappy cable deal.
