If the Rockets made Scottie Quitten a coach that would be the end for me. ;)

That's the same thing I thought, that would be the only reason a real fan would stop supporting the Rockets.

^ This * infinite loop - if ever the Rockets fire Daryl Morey.

Whichever team Morey chooses to remake as the new force for basketball and world domination, I'm hopping straight onto that team's bandwagon.

    This.

Move away from Houston, and they'll be the franchise I hate the most in the NBA.

NOTHING could make me stop being a fan because:

    - I am not from Houston... HECK.. I'm not from the USA (Australia baby!). So I have absolutely zero affiliation to Houston and really do not care one bit about the team's geographical location.

    - Been following the NBA since 1996 (yes I just missed out) and you could call me a bandwagoner all you like for choosing the 2-time champs as my favourite team when I started following the NBA BUT I just loved the Hakeem, Drex, Barkley trio.

    - Since 96, I have ALWAYS been a fan, and there have been some pretty low lows. The Francis/Mobley era was depressing. To think that I could actually support the team hoping that Eddie Griffin would become a superstar and Oscar Torres would be sharpshooter with longevity is hilarious in hindsight, but I stuck through that era.

a prolonged tanking process like what the Astros are doing what lose me for a few years. I don't mind the losing - I still rock my Astros bumper sticker - but I don't like seeing games played and coached poorly. Also, like anyone, I have favorite players, so if I knew that the few decent players on the team were bound to be traded for assets, then all I would have left is a team that plays poorly with players whose names I shouldn't bother to learn.

with the rockets, we had incredible turnover, but we were always competitive

Simply getting older, getting married and having a kid has taken its toll, but this CSN nonsense is doing it too.

Having an all-men's cheerleading team instead
