I admit, it took me a little longer than it should have... I feel slightly weaker as a Houston sports fan in general now. :(

Moving or if we had some starting line-up in the future that all took off their pants and starting pooping on the floor. Actually, I take that back, I might watch them more if that were to happen.

From Sacramento and have never been to Houston but if the Rockets left Houston I'd prolly look for another favorite team. Unless they moved to California

I read the subject line and thought, "Fire Daryl Morey," before I even read any of the posts.

Reading the first post, I'm not sure if this is what the OP meant, but, there it is, for what it's worth.

They would have to put out this starting lineup

    PG- Stockton
    SG- Fisher
    SF- Hornacek
    PF- Malone
    C- Perkins

Nothing against Houston but I can't say if I would or would not be a fan if they moved. I live in Missouri so I would love if they moved to STL. Sure most would be against that move lol.

Another completely stupid IMHO thread. Is there anyone who will actually put in the work to write a thread that is not at Paris Hilton's intellectual level? Stupid ditzy blond authors.

I used to be a big baseball fan. Too many strikes (they blew right past three strikes and your out), game times became way too long ( remember two hour games), so many playoff teams that a 162 game season is just silly.

I quit watching the Oilers cold turkey after the Buffalo debacle. I didn't mind the loss as much as the fact that management really did nothing about a total collapse of every aspect of the game (offense, defense, special teams and management). I thought a refund to season ticket holders would have been strong! - or players and staff donating their salary to charity.

I used to be a Rockets season ticket holder. What chased me away was an inability to sell off excess games (I live in Austin) and having to pay for completely unwatchable preseason games.

Also the seats at TC are so far from the floor. No kidding, my upstairs Summit seats were closer to the action than my downstairs Toyota seats. Not making that up, they gave us an overlay to help pick seats. In fact I have semi stopped going to games. I don't refuse to go, just don't care to go that often. There is more and more emphasis on entertainment, rather than the game. I actually like the game and watching the X's and O's aspects that you can't see on TV. Now it seems more about the halftime show and food court.

So I don't plan on giving up my Rockets, but those are the sort of things that have made sports less important to me over the years.

    PS to CCorn,
Really great answer, and somehow it got better!
