We still have our 1st from NO, but where that falls depends on whether OKC can edge out NO for the 8th spot. We traded our Denver 2nd so that's gone. Not sure about the rest.

The Minnesota or Denver 2nd Rd pick was traded to the best of my knowledge* with Isaiah Canaan to Philly for the right to have K. J. McDaniels ride the pine and to have the right to match any deal for him this offseason.

*Media reports are not always 100% on 2nd round picks, but I saw this at least a couple of times.

mock drafts show that we have the Pelis 1st and the knicks 2nd. I'd go with that.

In retrospect, DM did fairly well with the trades last summer. To get rid of Lin's contract (which, regardless of how you feel about the managing of the cap last summer, wasn't a bad idea, considering Lin was a net neutral on the court, imo), we basically traded the 3rd to last pick in the first round... not a big deal.

Asik wasn't as much a "get rid of" trade.... but the #14 pick for a guy that barely played for the team last year, didn't gel with Dwight, and hasn't seemed to meaningfully improve his new team, while also getting paid A LOT and being on the final year of his contract... that ain't bad!

Fairly well is the understatement of the year regarding trades last summer. First of all, the Rox FO was able shed 15M of salary without giving up anything (lost a pick, gained a pick). To put that into perspective, Memphis had to give up prime Pau Gasol just to get 9M in expiring contract (and no, Marc Gasol was just a throw in to the trade as he was a low second rounder known only as Pau Gasol's younger bro at the time), DM didn't even have to take salary back. As it turned out, the trades actually ended up helping improve the Rox stock, we're one of the few teams who can enjoy both a high playoff seed and also a relatively high pick....it's a case of having your cake and eating it too IMHO.
