Fantastic proposal. Seriously. I hate refs with big egos that want to make themselves a part of the game (i'm looking right at you joey crawford)
Guys, if y'all didn't realize, Zboy was sarcastic. Made it really obvious that y'all didn't actually read through the thread before posting. Just saying.
Huh? i suspected it was sarcasm but please explain to me how you deducted that others didn't read through the thread if they didn't realize he was not serious? His post was the second post in the thread. It wasn't that obvious.
This is what is messed up with the NBA. A foul is a foul. The game situation shouldn't dictate when a foul is called. The NBA is essentially telling players go into the lane at the end of a close game at your own risk. If they aren't going to call anything then next time do a push off step back ala Chris Paul.
It was way more obvious that it was at game speed, but wow how does a professional ref that close to the action miss and obvious call like that??? NBA refs in general are ****tards. Beginning to hate the sport at times because of the blatant control refs have of the game and the favoritism they show the marquee players all too often.
Hahaha.. to be clear, your advocating he let another teammate be clutch? Has that worked, um, ever for this team? Secondly, please explain how Harden should have drove in differently on that play? What was he doing that was abnormal relative to someone like Wade driving in, or Kobe, or MJ? Does he stick his arms out at times? Absolutely. Of course, he almost ALWAYS is ACTUALLY getting fouled. But besides that, this isn't one of those times. He was just driving and got blatantly fouled.
Because post #26. Did you not read it either? Everybody that posted afterwards that ridiculed him clearly didn't read through the thread.
This is why the NBA should institute a coach's challenge rule. Coach gets two challenges per game. A failed challenge results in a two shot technical free throw by the other team. Done. NBA, send me a royalty check.
The way things were trending last night, this would just resulted in two more free throws for Memphis.
