You gotta be friggen kidding me? You can't be a cop in Huntsville, but the IRS will hire you!?!

The IRS has ridiculous background checks. I don't see how you got in......unless they've COMPLETELY relaxed things in the past few years.

By the way.....here's a second vote for Pearland.....although I'm "across the railroad tracks" from Silverlake.

The IRS's polygraph doesn't focus on past drug use. I haven't done any drugs besides alcohol in years now. The IRS is more concerned about past crimes, thefts, things like that. Also, I do not believe the Polygraph I failed was fairly run. If you know anything about polygraphs they are far from exact science. And the results have to be "interpreted" with the examiner playing God. I had actually admitted to drug use before the exam but still failed it because of inconsistant results.

Also I have had no arrests, which is a major concern with the IRS, as opposed to trying to read your mind in a Police department polygraph. They even asked me if I had sex with animals or children under 14. I asked them if 15 was okay....

Well, come to think of it... there is this bridge I've been wanting to sell.

Keep thinking I'll fix it up, paint it, or something. But it's probably time to just cut my losses.

Please tell me it is not Shell?

I'm an operator at a major oil/gas refinery in the Houston area, hoping beyond hope that Harrisment is not monitoring my 12 hours BBS sessions at work.
