Seriously, where do you live? I'm going to call the cops right now so they can haul you in jail. You think this is funny, huh? Two Houston teams? This is all part of your plan to seperate the Rockets fans isn't it? I bet you're Mark Cuban.
Lay off the pipe and go crawl under a rock. What makes you think it cant heppen dumb ass. Less was a Knick fan before he ever was a Rockets fan and im quite sure if he does and the money and its possible he thorws it around. Some of you speak as if its imposible i think some of you should go crawl under a rock instead of speaking as if your tough.
maybe in your eyes than again nothing you say has anything to do with basketball so you can go crawl under a rock too.
It won't happen because you can't spell/type and propose ludicrous suggestions. Also, 'go crawl under a rock' isn't exactly threatening or insulting. *snap*
Lol. This topic cracks me up, total waste of bandwidth not withstanding. Age limit, anyone? Seriously Rockets4279, just because you think a topic is worth discussing doesn't mean it is, so think things through before starting a new thread really. At the very least you'll spare yourself the flame.
Is that the best you could come up with? No "your momma" jokes? No "jerk store" quip? No "epic fail" pictures? I RARELY post in the GARM/NBA Dish forums for precisely the reason you quoted: I usually have nothing important to say, basketball-wise. The difference, though, between you and I is that I at least acknowledge that fact and limit my posts in these forums, while you are still living in denial.
To take the suggestion seriously for a moment: 1. The NBA won't allow an owner to own two teams at the same time. It'd create conflicts of interest: Would one team throw games for the other? Would one team make sweetheart trades with the other? Etc. 2. I'm pretty sure the Knicks still turn a profit even with their ridiculous luxury tax problem. I don't see any motive to sell. 3. If the luxury tax was causing them to be unprofitable, they can shed salary and get under the tax in a fairly short (in big business terms) span of time. They can make lopsided deals to trade away salary, not re-sign players, etc. 4. If they still weren't profitable and wanted to get out, I don't know who'd want to buy in. 5. If Les bought the team, why would he move it to Houston? Wouldn't he rather keep it in New York, which is his hometown and probably the best market in the country to be in? 6. How could Houston support two NBA teams? The Rockets can't even sell out all their own games with one team in town.
you enjoying your member status? wanna keep enjoying it? lay off posts like that. and the fact is that it would NEVER happen...not a realistic possibility in this reality. Accept it and move on. As alluded to by Mango, there have been alot of posters that are much better than you get a temp vacation, if you dont want to join them try to be more mature in your discussions.
