I thought you said he should be #2 in the Heisman? That's about wehre I think VY should be. Who doesn't think as highly of him as me?
That's about where you think he should be or that's where you think he should be? Reggie Bush deserves the Heisman and he doesn't have to campaign for it because he knows it's his. If he does, I might consider talking **** about him (doubtful, but I'd be dissapointed). I don't hate Young, I actually like the guy. I just think Reggie Bush is going to be one of the best backs (and is already) that you'll ever see. People doubted me when I said the same thing about LaDanian and I doubt they'd be willing to argue otherwise now.
I think, like in most years, a case can be made for either of the three to be anywhere between 1 and 3. Hell, Drew Olson had better numbers then Leinart or YOung. I thought everybody and their mom thought LT was gonna be good. He was drafted 4th and dominated the combine. Drafted 4th, not a 4th rounder.
If you say so. Rings hollow to me. Sounds like alot of atm fans saying "no, I don't hate Texas, I really don't. I could care less." I don't know many midwesterners who like Texas, to tell you the truth. I wouldn't blame you for hating UT. Also, what does Reggie being the greatest we may ever see have to do with the Heisman?
There's always a case to be made, but there's a clear vut winner here. If was between Young and Leinart, I'd give it to Vince. Reggie is simply more deserving this season. A lot of people didn't think that highly of LT suprisingly. They questioned his competition level and his stregth. People are much higher on Bush then they were lT.
Think whatever you want dude, it's up to you. I actually like living in Texas. I'm a huge Rockets, Texans (even though we suck) and Stros fan (although they really piss me off). In terms of college teams, it's Michigan. I don't hate UT, they've produced too many players I like. I like Young (or at least I'm trying to continue liking him) but I just think he's overrated as a QB. You don't have to agree with me, it's just how i feel.

Dude I honestly dont have a problem with you at all. It just seems that you're always trying to find a way to nitpick at Texas. For someone who's supposedly uncaring or ambivalent to UT as you've described yourself, you seem to care alot about what goes on in our camp, why do you care about what Mack Brown does and how his players feel? It just seems weird and compulsive. I just think you need to chill out man
I think its kinda cool that Young is semi-talking sh*t. He's normally real classy, but his quote was disrespecting Reggie. He better back it up. If he wins the MVP of the Rose Bowl no one would legitimize Reggie's Heisman award.
I'm not saying he hates UT, but his "ambivalence" is to show credibility as in "I ain't biased, that's just the way I feel." I have this friend that I knew hated Texas and every time we talked UT "most overrated team ever, no heart, etc." I asked him who he wanted to win he said "I could careless." Of course, when he was a bit drunk he said "You got me. I hate UT and everything about it. Can't stand the school or the fans." I think Texas the state and Texas the school rarely evokes indifference.
