Canaan will be playing in the D-League. So why not bring in a vet like Billups. Dude is a leader and a champion.

Sometimes you a vet mix in a championship team....i.e. Shane Battier. Chauncey could fit the bill.

Imagine our second unit has Beverley, Chauncey and Asik. That is scary good. We may have the deepest roster in the league. Yes, get Chauncey.

Hell yes. Unless if we can land Nate Robinson.

That will be sweet. I think we need that one crazy dude to come off the bench and just go OFF. He is a championship-level knucklehead. Every championship team needs a knucklehead unless if you're the Spurs. But, heck, even they signed S. Jackson at one point.

We need off the ball players who play motion and roll off the ball who can feed off harden and howard. Billups is ball dominante. Rip would be a great get . Garcia is also a terrific off the ball player.

Doesn't matter that he's old. He can still provide leadership to our young guys.

The problem is, he is too injury prone now. He sat out a large portion of the start of season, came back, and then got injured again.

You bring in a vet like Billups for locker room presence and create a champeen atmosphere. The guy has won it all before and even earned the Finals MVP. He would be incredibly instrumental in giving the young squad confidence that they are headed in the right direction.

Honestly, I feel like Lin, Asik and maybe TJones will feel like outsiders considering that they were all being actively shopped/ at risk or losing their spot on the rotation. Of course these guys aren't divas, but it wouldn't be surprising if their play reflected the fact that they may not be a part of this roster by the trade deadline. A guy like Billups who has been moved and looked over so many times would be able to give these guys 1st hand experience in how to overcome this.

Dude doesn't need to play a single minute.

I'd say yes to either Billups or Rip Hamilton. Still want Delfino more than anybody else though :)

Only if he comes for minimum money, other then that no. We don't need his old butt, that's what Garcia is for.

I've suggested billups...was injured last season, but still shot almost 39% from three. Canaan should get time in the nbdl first.

I think Billups can still play and I wouldn't mind the addition depending on how the roster shapes up. Especially if Lin gets moved.
