"What we have to do is find a way to get more people involved on offense,'' Houston coach Rick Adelman said. "We need more balance than we are getting.''

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I can't get my post to stick. Anyways! We want Steve!

Dude, T-Mac shot 57% (16 of 28) from the field today. What are you complaining about??? It's not like he was shooting at a raferesque rate. Who else was efficient tonight? Maybe Yao but even he was struggling against Milicic (ugh!). T-Mac is playing extremely well and you're saying that everytime he plays like this the Rockets lose!? Geez! We lost tonight because everyone other that T-Mac & Yao had a bad night.

It's still early in the season so I would agree with him. But man, Rafer is killing me. He made a lot of silly mistakes against Memphis.

I'm tired of seeing rafer also; but he is the only one that will actually pass the ball to yao. :(
Ughh, shame to see a 41 pt performance by tmac going to waste.

You'll never trade his fat...contract if his arse replaces Stevie's on the pine. Of course, trading his arse would require Ted Stepian (at the least...and he ain't walking back into any building...).

um, even if % come out, rafer ends up shooting 37-38%, which is still poor.

james will go back to 44% b/c he's jst streaky. same w/ battier.

so steve WILL have a chance. rafer has these long stretches of bad play except for a stretch of 3-4 games

Yeah as bad as the supporting cast (they weren't all bad - Hayes played a heck of a game) played tonight we still had a chance to win it in the end. Who knows what would have happened if Hayes hadn't fouled out or if Shane had hit that 3. We would have gone up by 1 point. Good game.. we'll destroy them Dec 5. ;)

Yes, I forgot to give credit to Chuck. Too bad he fouled out. Thanks refs!
Hell yeah we will destroy them next time!

Problem is you can't play Francis with James. Both of them need the ball. I think you play Alston with Francis and that is the crux of the problem.

Considering the following facts, we are overachieving so far:
1: Rafer sucks by shooting 30%
2: James sucks except for the two games
    3: Chuck's offense sucks
4: Scola is a foul generator for Rockets, and he sucks
5: Shane is very good at taking offense charges, other than that, he sucks and is too much overrated
6: Head has NOT recovered from the poor performance from last season's playoff. What's his 3pt percentage? Sucks again.

These 6 guys are all our players (except for Yao, TMac, and probably a few minutes for Deke).

I am glad that we are overachieving. I am frustrated when seeing the way how these sucking guys play.

James is shooting pretty badly too, but his bad shooting is right around Rafer's career average.

    Wanna try again?

THAT'S A 54 WIN SEASON AND I'M ELATED. We're 1 game away from the best record in the West. We've beaten SA, Utah & Lakers; but lost at Dallas. Yes things need to improve & that will come.

Let's wait till the 2nd week in January before we throw everyone under the bus. That way the bus will have had time to stop in the East. :D

on rox backcourt, i have a diff opinion from ra. everyone knows what rafer can do. are you expecting he is going to do better? he is what he is. if ra is not satisfied last couple games, there is no reason to wait.

winning 6 of 8 games doesn't mean rafer was playing better than last year. he is right at what he was last year, no worse and no better. if ra is ok with last year's rafer, stick with him. otherwise, try diff things.

Coach'A' is starting to sound a little like JVG, I hope I am wrong about this but last nights performance said one thing to me-this team is not a playing like a championship contender and Coach'A' needs to make changes and be more flexible. I still can't see that they are playing anything like the old Sacramento Coach A Scenario! Can you? :p

    No he does not.

Coach A says : "We need more balance than we are getting.''

Assistant coach says : We need to play harder, more intensity and passion.

Assistant coach would never use the word balance
