    No...just probably you.

Seriously, I can memorize more useless things than anyone. It has helped get through some tough classes in college like Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry.

HEY! I aced organic chemistry! I loved it! Along with botany, zoology, physics, and all my calculus classes.

To me, English comp and history and psych classes are useless.

Again, Manny misses the true history of this BBS. It's:

    I agree.:)

Maybe history classes are necessary, heh Manny! :D

This thread reminds me of the old job interview question. "What is your greatest weakness."

Answer I like best. "Sometimes I expect too much out of myself and the others around me."

It's great. It implies that you are so hard working, you're willing to sacrifice your health, your family and everything else for the corporation, that your insane work ethic will drive your coworkers nuts, trying to keep up with you. You also might be prone to tattle on them if they don't keep up.

Similarly. Describe a time you were wrong. "One time I thought that I had made a mistake, but I was wrong."

Behad, I thought it was funny.

Most: I like the difference I've made it my girlfriend's life.

Least: Damn, there are so many. I procrastinate, I have absolutely no will power, I have no game (not that I need it now), many others.

I've noticed a common thread in this thread. Everyone is prone to procrastinating and would rather post on bbs's than do their work for school or their job.

    Most:

    Logic, Problem solving

    Ability to understand

Ability to see other's point of view, realize he's made great points, but to still go with my instinct, heart if I feel I'm still right.

    ability to teach.

    Least

Stubborn. Sometimes, I see other's POV, realize he's made great points, know he's right, but will go on like I'm right because opponent never admits he's wrong, so I won't.

Debating skills- I can be right, and still lose if I don't spend time developing argument before hand.

    Talk/post without thinking

Lack of timing. example: found woman that fits what I'm looking for (random acts of kindness to friends/strangers, similar beliefs, chemistry-ability to loss myself in conversation with her for hours), but didn't realize she was what I was looking for until I entered the Friendzone.

Another theme I see running thru the "least" responses is "the inability to talk to women". Why is this common? It's not that hard, at least not to me. Just walk up, say hi, then go from there. Just be sure to always look them in the eyes as you speak and talk about what you know.

Sorry, had to interject. I didn't know this was a common problem till now.

Coming from a woman, I don't know why guys have such a problem. I've never had a guy who had problems talking to me, not that I noticed at least.

I would think that it's more likely that the problem is women. We're really not nice people. And I'm being serious. Most of my friends are guys. Girls are evil and backstabbing and I don't trust most of them. Just my opinion.

Don't give up hope guys! :)

    Hehe, sorry Mrs. JB. ;)

    Again, it's a generalization.

But I do think that most women don't give men a fair chance. I mean really, how hard is it to talk to someone? Maybe it's because women are hard to talk to (ie non-receptive).

    Princess:

Maybe guys like me have such a hard time talking to girls because we can't stand rejection.

Men have naturally been raised to be more agressive and competitive than women. To be rejected by a woman is tantamount to failure, IMO.

Again, I have to disagree with your generalization. Undoubtedly, there are some girls who are hard to talk to. But I've met plenty of guys who are just as intimidating and unresponsive.

By the same token there are many girls who are quite approachable. My own Mr. J.B. was fairly unresponsive for a while. He later claimed that he didn't know I was romantically interested in him, but I thought I was being fairly obvious. So we can't always be sure that our signs are being read properly and vice-versa.

You seem to have a very set view of how the world works -- but I would encourage you to entertain the notion that there are other possibilities. It's more fun that way.
