The fact that we replaced a bunch of guys who could not shoot or defend with a bunch of guys that can shoot and defend. The fact that JVG finally has his guys and we will get to find out exactly what kind of coach he is and how 'loyal' he is to 'his' players. The fact that they aren't piss'n and moan'n about the new basketballs like the rest of the league. The fact that we have plenty of really really really good free throw shooters in crunch time. The fact that Rafer has lots of guys to pass to that can actually can shots. The fact that we can now run the ole picket fence and Jimmy will hit the shot.
This team doesnt need to go small against small line ups of the Suns or the Mavs. This is a better defensive and rebounding unit than the last 2 seasons. With the improvements in defense and rebounding, this team should be able to control the tempo of the game against small line ups. When the game slowes down, Yao will punish any small line up harshly. The Rockets will beat the Suns this season.
