    What was that play that would come to Houston every year... the commercial had the guy that said "Let's talk about ducks" in a real hick accent?

    I'm surprised that doesn't happen more often when people sleep with their pets in the bed. Why do so many people try it? Not a good idea...


    And how's the duck? Any updates?

    The duck is doing well. My boys absolutely adore that bird and even our 65 pound mutt is intrigued (I imagine her thinking "I've seen kittens and dogs and all kinds of things, but I've never seen anything like this!").

    We went to a feed store and got some duck feed. He is growing like mad!

    I won't be going to any Rox games for a while, so no and I wouldn't paint him red anyway.

    We plan to take him to Bay Area Park once he gets big enough to fend for himself. That whole area is a bird sanctuary. If he decides he wants to stay, he can stay, if he follows us back to the car, I guess I will have to expand my pond.
