    Disappointed in Red Redemption's comments; You can never play too hard. I'm not saying I'm going to sacrifice my knees to concrete for a 50/50 ball, but I want that guy who will on my pickup team I hastily assembled 2 mins ago.

    Its a pickup game...
    I understand playing reasonably hard; playing good D; sprinting for a fast break opportunity.
    Then there are the players who yell at everyone on their team, gloat too much after making a FG, or dive on the floors and fight people for loose balls. Not to mention those that call light fouls.

    Based on these last two threads by the OP, I think someone could make a pretty decent movie out of this character. Played by Seth Rogan, Will Ferrell or similar.

    I personally don't like trashtalking because it is disrespectful to my opponent. When it is being done to me then I let my game to the talking. To show respect, I leave everything in the court. Sure I'll beat the heck out of him but it is still a game.

    Sportsmanship, look it up.

    Just say, "that's what she said" for every utterance that comes out of his mouth. Watch him after a while start to trash-talk in a high-pitched voice and complain that his tank top is irritating his nipples. Osmosis.
