Discount Tire Co. is the one I'm talking about. They're a national chain - one of the biggest tire dealers in the nation. I've gone to 3 different ones to get each flat fixed.
The wrench in my car was for 16 inch wheels, which is what the factor is standard for my car. My brother's car has the same wrench but it fitted his bolts perfectly. I think when I buyed it used they repleaced it with 14 inch tires with smaller bolts, but didn't change the wrench.
For now, try to find someone with the right wrench, or go buy one, so you can get the spare on. (or do what we did when this happened out in the middle of nowhere on the highway and Ferdinand didn't have the right equipment in his car... call 911 and have the cops do it ) Don't drive on a flat. I did one time because I sort of felt I had to (in the middle of the Southwest Freeway near 610, crowded time of day, not much shoulder on the road, the next exit was 610 which wouldn't have helped). First it shreds the tire, then it squishes the rim, then it starts working on the rest of your car. Not good.
Have Lil Pun come pick you up and take you to Walmart to pick up a wrench that will fit your lugs. Lil Pun will then drive you to your car where you can put your spare on. Thank Lil Pun for the ride and then drive to a discount tire or whereever you buy your tires to fix or replace the tire. It's as simple as that and it will get Lil Pun away from his computer for a few hours.
