What do you do with your kids during the summer?

We see my son, who graduated from college a year ago and has a great job in Austin, every week or two on a weekend and have lunch, maybe go to see a movie. He's doing extremely well and looking to go to Japan next year for vacation. While he was going to high school, he asked for the complete Japanese version of Rosetta Stone, knocked that off, and then aced Japanese at his university (I don't know where this child came from!). My daughter is spending a month in Europe with a friend after graduating from her magnet high school, so what are we doing with her? Sending her money. ;-)-

Very proud of both of them, but I have a feeling the thread is aimed at members with younger kids.

Send them to some kind of summer camp (sports, musical, academic, outdoors, etc)

Kids get a break from school, stay at home with a parent or grandparent or other guardian

Parents work, kids fend for themselves at home

Other (please explain)
