but he keeps missing them and that just gives them more ammunition to ignore his arse and double team our stars harder.

i immediately start shaking my head once hes bending his knees and gettin ready to launch it....watch it miss....then start cursing at him..

 

I say... "No!!! Stop shooting the ball Rafer!!!"

1st Quarter: Alright, yao, Hayes, Scola, Wells, or whoever get ready for the rebound.


2nd Quarter:

3rd Quarter: I didn't know we had Gilbert Arenas on our team.....no wonder keeps chucking.

4th Quarter: If we're trailing, ohhh we're about to lose

If we're winning, the other team is about to make a comeback, especially after 2 or 3 consecutive misses.

Does Rafer really play for the Rockets as much as he tries to help the other team?

Rafer is secretly waiting for us to get deep into playoffs and he'll reveal himself as missing piece to Rockets championship march.

and lastly every time he shoots....I seriously say


"When will they trade or bench Rafer Alston?"

 

I die a little inside.

Actually at the home opener there was a time when Rafer got the ball wide open on the wing and began to set his feet for a shot before deciding to pull it out and initiate the offense. When we all thought he was going to shoot it there was a collective "awww crap" from the crowd. I chuckled.

 

I have serious doubts that the Rockets will go anywhere with Rafer running the point...just because he's an all-around bad shooter who lacks consistency. Defenders can play slack defense on Rafer and not really worry about him making it. It makes the situation for the other Rockets on the floor more difficult. He was bad for most of last season and I think he is even worse this season. And, we're supposed to just believe he is starter material. Sorry...not buying it.

 

So you can't watch the game after the first couple of minutes, then?

I hold my breath until the shot clanks off of the rim. Then I let the air out and mutter the four letter (both) under the breath.

 

Everytime he shoots I call out "trash" because that is what I think of his game.
