That is more or less how I feel. I hope he goes 0 for 20 or 30--whatever it would take to have him taken out of the starting lineup once and for all. I am afraid he can go 2 or 3 for 10 indefinitely. I do admire the way Rafer dribbles and brings the ball up. His passing is pretty good, too. Certainly Hayes and Battier, are also offensively challenged. However, it does not seem seem like they are constantly taking shots they miss. Of course, you can't have Tracy and Yao taking all the shots for the starters so I guess it leaves Rafer by default taking the outside shots he can't hit when the problem is due to Hayes and even Battier. In the rare times when Rafer is hitting, we almost always click on offense and seldom fail to make or develop a lead. If only Rafer could shoot.
i simply just say noooo!!! and lose any hope that we will get any points from him . he doesnt even get fouled, at least get fouled. on a side note, bonzi is still fat!!!
why wold he get fouled. have you not noticed that there is usually no one guardin him in a 10 foot radius. most teams want him to shoot.
My wife gets on me for cussing everytime he shoots. I know JESUS and need to improve in this area. But I can't believe GOD is punishing us by giving us non shooting pG with poor shot selection. Stick a fork in me, I'm done.
soooo true, the guy who is playing off him to leave him open for the 3 is already running down the otherside of the court for the fast break as soon as the ball leaves his hands. Opposing fans and announcers are screaming "Yes!"
i say go get the offensive rebound b/c even the announcers of the opposing team knows it's a brick. rafer can shoot when he's wide open b/c that's the right play. but what baffles me is how can you suck so badly when you're so wide open? and he says he practices HARD. that just does not make sense. i'm sure if the shot is contested and he misses, no problem. but ******* he misses the easiest shots in the world.

He has to shoot because he is so wide open. If he doesn't shoot teams will ignore him, which creates automatic double teams on Yao and Tmac. I've played against non shooters and I treated them like Hot NY city garbage, I didn't go near them. I left them alone and double teamed the best player and won the game easily.
