I think it depends on where you are in life. I like to spend time with my family, work-out and relax at home. The club and bar phase has passed, although I will hang out with my buddies every once and awhile. I wouldnt pay any attention to stupid remarks here...azadre is a joto. I'm Kidding!
I hit up all the dance clubs, because anyone who knows me knows that I love to DANCE!!! I'll serve anyone here, too. Here's a pic of me and my friends from this weekend: Spoiler
Or maybe we have work during weekdays and class during weeknights, so the only option to study is weekends?

I guess...The guy in med school definitely gets a pass. Med school students are basically cut from a different cloth. It seems like if you don't make med school your life, you aren't going to survive. I have the utmost respect for them. But I did the work and school thing throughout undergrad and law school and still had a very healthy social life. Do people really study for 25+ hours all on the weekend? I know that I would have become burned out real quick without budgeting some free time for myself on weekends. Your mileage may vary though. I realize that different people have different situations. I am speaking from the standpoint of a "traditional student", i.e., straight from high school to undergrad, and straight from undergrad to graduate school. I was young, not seriously attached to anyone, and without kids for the entire 7 years.
Beer Work out Stuff with the kid and wife Yardwork Random project Homework Watch Sports Wait for Football Season Actually, this is any day of the week.
watch movies, tv shows, sports, go shopping, spend time with the wife and the kid, surf the internet, clean the house, do laundry, smoke cigarettes, cook, and occasionally go out for drinks with friends and whatnot. overall, trying to stay out of trouble and not do dumb **** like go to the strip club and spend all my money on some tramp ho. bigger and better things in life than chasing tail once you get older (i`m 31). i prefer to stack my bread.
Well, we had our first kid in December, so weekends consist of: keeping kid entertained Pre-Kid, dinner/drinks friday. drinks saturday. rest Now, kid, kid, errands, rest. kid, kid, errands. rest
Mostly I shuttle kids around to sports or playdates or do something to keep them from being "bored.". When they go to bed, Mrs. rimrocker and I watch an R rated Netflix movie. I occasionally do household chores and work in the yard/garden. I look at the elliptical in the spare bedroom and then head to the computer. Last night, I bathed the dog.
Last few weeks it's been tons of housework to get the house ready for sale. Usually, it's- movies with the wife in the evenings Ultimate Frisbee on Saturdays BBQing on Sundays playing with the kid various yard and house stuff I can't wait to get back to that. I'm in Ultimate withdrawal.
Watch a lot of baseball/football/basketball... whatever's on. Go to the movie theater if there's anything decent. Sleep a lot. Do any necessary shopping that needs doing (food, clothes, electronics). Yeah, I'm not very exciting... weekends are more of a relax and do nothing sort of thing for me. To recharge, if you will.
I clean my cave and hope the Danes don't come back around and start crap with me or my mother....... a little english lit humor....
