Web Developer by day. Web developer by night. Photographer on the side. Smart Ass by trait. Human helper and assistant by nature. Grammar Nazi in the BBS. [whine]sort of looking for "gigs" and a job on the side, but neither Jeff nor Clutch want to give me a chance[/whine]
Developer of reading curricula, software, and media for a large non-profit education reform foundation.
I'm a biology student. on saturday I deliver mail (sorry the word mailman reminds me to much of malone, but that is what i do)
Touché. I have them, though... I haven't actually FORMALLY asked to do some gigs. I HAVE offered to translate cf.net to Spanish... to no avail. Hey, at least I am not a VP working in "Managment." If you had your allow-people-to-send-me-email enabled, I'd send you a link to show you my skills. It's just that I was visiting my girlfriend in Oklahoma and she's modeling right now, GOSH.
The subject of the sentence in question was Jeff and Clutch want; meaning a plural subject. Some grammar Nazi came by and tried to say there was a singular subject, when there wasn't.
I'm the executive producer of Houston's only sports radio station that matters. (Had to get a jab in)
That's not really relevant. The subject-verb rule, in the cases of "either/neither-or/nor", dictates that the verb agrees with the closer subject. Last time I checked, "Clutch" was not a collective noun.
So it is true. 90% of the posters here are computer dorks. And here I was thinking all of you were sports experts.
i'm a student doin B.Comm......... also work part-time in retail....not something i would like to consider as a career choice.
