Their primitive ability to exist in such a barren and arid environment. I wonder when they're going to stop dragging their knuckles and walk upright? Maybe that's the reason they fall over and flop all the time.
I tell you what I don't admire. A thread like this. For what reason, exactly? It is not like we want to be like the Jazz, play dirty, flop, have their big shooting 3's, with extremely rabid fans, etc, etc. It will please me to no ends if somehow Jazz dropped out of the playoffs picture. Imagine that!
Hard one, I admire their all-time great, Karla Malone who got away with all his cheapshots in life, making a 13-year old girl pregnant when he was in college and not taking his responsibilities as a father how he got away with injuring players on regular basis without being punished for it. I will let the pictures do the talking though:
Admire? Nothing. Envy? Their ability to get away with more fouls than the rest of the league combined, night in and night out. That's a handy thing to have.
It's hard not to appreciate their consistency in their motion offense. Everyone knows what they are going to do because the same darn thing has been run for years, but they still do it effectively. I am by no means a Jazz fan, but I only hope that at some point we look as smooth running Adelman's offense as they do running Sloan's.
Jazz game is simple, Play hard nose defense without and I say without Causing a Riot meaning no trash talking and no fights with opponent. Thats why they always get the Ref's good side. Then on the offensive side, Open shot, or drive, once your defender turns his head and look at the ball handler, cut hard to the basket and get rewarded with an open dunk/lay up or a trip to the line. other than that its pick and rolls. Artest really let last night game get to him, couple of times he drove, there were guys wide open on the wing and he didnt pass it to them. Wafer and lowry couldn't make a shot/layup in the 4rth quarter and kept running every chance they got and tried to pick up a foul... Utah are not dumb. Tapes will be reviewed and I willl pray everyday that we see Utah in the first round... 3rd time is a charm...
today's Jazz reminds me of the pistons in 04, not as good though. I mean each of the jazz players except williams would become a crap once he left that team, just like Ben Wallace after leaving Pistons.
1 star for this thread. I admire nothing about those douchebags. Yes they deserved to die and I hope they burn in hell!
