I agree lmao @ Battriza so there is a that and Scolandry.

I think man that injury on Cook messed up any Iggy deal i think we might have to just settle for Bosh/Butler/Bayless NO? Killer B's like the Astros Bosh/Butler/Bayless/Brooks/Budinger NO?

OK, look. Brooks is more of a SG than a PG.

IMO, he IS the scorer, the go-to guy on the team. and i don't think this is changing for a long, long time.

the biggest issue is size for the Rockets. remember when we got HAMMERED by the Magic? anytime we play a team with a legitimate shot-blocker that can contest our "bigs", we get totally shut down.

we need a SERIOUS player in the post, something like Kaman or Yao, who can contest shots made by the other bigs in the game.

watch our defense get torn to pieces whenever we play against a decently sized PF-C team. For example, Amare Stoudemire. that's the biggest clue that we need to get a bigger team.

This season and in the future a perimeter player.

This season especially, a big man that can block shots or crash the boards. However, given the nature of getting a player of that type (who can actually play at an above average level) is unlikely without damaging this season's team, so good swingman is our best bet.

Although unlike a lot of our fan base, I personally, wouldn't mind us sticking with this roster for the entire season and into the hopeful playoffs.

We need both pretty badly but a perimeter threat that can shoot, finish, and create is always going to take priority over your average run-of-the-mill big that can block a couple shots a game. What's more important -- seeing that 2 BPG stat and a few altered shots or having a player that's capable of carrying us through offensive droughts (not to mention, reducing the heavy minutes for Battriza)? Definitely the latter.
