What do people think about Bitcoin?

I looked up the CEO - https://twitter.com/mokamoto?lang=en - and I am somehow less excited now, lulz.

 

Yellen said 2 things today that impact BTC.

1. will investigate use of crypto in financing terrorism = bad for BTC
2. low interest rates for a LONG time = good for BTC

Not sure what to make of it. I imagine it'll hurt BTC short term, but be good for it long term. I want to buy the possible upcoming dip (MARA/RIOT) but not 100% confident.

 

I decided against buying mara at current price. If it goes down further I will consider the risk/reward again. The environmental concerns are real, the higher price gets more power will get consumed, inviting more scrutiny. Not every country has "green" energy

 

If it gets to $15 you better get in. This feels like a panic-sell-off based on Yellen's terrorism concerns. She's just saying buzzwords. Lol.

@Ziggy instead of worrying about the climate people and the flippening, decided to buy a smol position in VIH as a hedge instead. Valuation is really expensive for something with only 100k users in beta... but this market keeps rewarding risk. Will add if it goes down.

Pure propaganda that was EATIN UP by so many. It's like Trump propaganda. Pure hit-piece. After Yellen's comments too. Interesting few weeks ahead for BTC.

 

Those poor fools in the stock market doesnt know what its like to have your stock trade 24x7. Wait until DeFi starts trading stock off exchange.

 

I don't know if my sanity can handle 24/7 haha.

 

No kidding. If I wanted 24 hour insanity, I'd go trade forex.
