Network passes 100k transactions in 24 hours for the first time ever .. you can see a steady increase in the number of transactions despite the falling price <img src= https://i.imgur.com/Sp0R6NE.png>

it would be cool if ChangeTip ( www.changetip.com ) offered a tool for BBS software systems such as the one Clutch uses for this site. users could tip each other and most importantly, Clutch  they do state they are releasing a public API soon.. maybe they will be able to do something with that
Fair enough but it's been around for 5 years and is still up YoY It's time to buy and hold. Not compare it to fiat currencies
That's interesting logic. Last time I checked the dollar still dominates America and the world. If you own an asset that is dropping versus the dollar then you are losing. I hope your average price in dollars isn't too high.
Been buying from 600s back in february. This isn't about USD vs BTC afterall, I've learned. Idc what the US dollar does. BTC and the blockchain is going to be the basis of new extensions of our economy. My POV is from a technology investment aspect. Nothing does what this does. It just also happens to work as a medium of exchange (currency) Relating it back to currency all the time is missing the point. I like to think about buying BTC as equity in the first decentralized global startup
Not in the short term for an investment with a long time horizon. Not sure why you would think that I think that... lol
Because it's what you said: This isn't about USD vs BTC afterall, I've learned. Idc what the US dollar does. If you don't care about the relationship between USD and BTC, you're saying the price you're paying in USD to buy equity in BTC is irrelevant. You're saying it's worth it whether a BTC costs $50 or $50,000,000.
Sorry I should clarify.. too much context just gets lost on a message board lol. I meant as in the geoeconomic strength of the dollar isnt a primary driver in whether or not btc and blockchain tech is a success.. but disruptions in fiat would lead to a greater capital flight indeed
price keeps going down towards 300 again.. good for me as I get more bits for my dollar I guess that makes bitcoin useless and dumb somehow though on the other hand Time, Inc. just decided to begin accepting bitcoin for subscriptions to all of its magazine brands.
Sadly I'm with Ganja here. How's the first Bitcoin machine in Houston? I haven't check it out. "Look where people aren't looking."
Sadly ? I haven't either. It's at the George R Brown somewhere though.. Houston's first BTC machine at the most prominent convention center in the city. They wouldn't let just anyone open anything on their premises
