Yeah, but like I tell others... just be careful. This type of euphoria existed back in the late 90's and early 00's with the DotCom bubble and when that blew it destroyed a lot of lives. There's actually a thread on this forum for doctcom mania from back then that's very similar to this thread. I had stocks double in a day, triple in a week, etc. There was a stock I owned for a period (several periods) that if I had bought $1000 of it in January and held it without attempting to daytrade it until February of the next year, it would've been worth over $1 million. Instead I said "I'm going to daytrade this" and although I made money on it, I would've made a crap-ton more had I just bought it and held it because even if I timed the sale, I still had to time the point to get back in.... and that's too much for 99.999999% of people... especially on stuff like that stock (which was a farce) and cryptocurrency which ... I'm not even sure what it is yet. It's really nothing, but with the potential to be a lot, but which one will be a lot which one will be nothing, who knows.

And Ver basically didn't go ape... tried to say Bitcoin Cash was the future and he worries about Bitcoin Core... he was basically doing an ad for BCH, which was sort of expected. No meltdown, though, sadly.

I think the basic premise is that it's grossly undervalued. The number attachment is mostly a guess based on where bitcoin stands. I think 1% of BTC is too low and 2% might be pushing it... So somewhere in the middle there is where I'd think LTC should be. I also think that as awareness grows surrounding crypto, LTC is the coin that'll get increased play relative to others.

Mix in its speed, transaction costs, colored coins... Potential is there for a big boom.

Ah, I missed this. It was on CNBC's Fast Money show (US) and he was only on for about 10 minutes being interviewed over the phone. It just ended a few minutes ago. Sometimes they re-run it or you may be able to find it on the CNBC website later, too.

Probably Litecoin, Monero, ARK, IOTA, ADA, NEO at the moment.

Check the past few pages of this thread for more recommendations and more detailed discussion.

And 1-2% BTC is extremely volatile. BTC can be 17 and 155 an hour apart.

Right... So at the time, taking 1.5% would land it around $250. Just an estimate, nothing more.

If bitcoin hits those kinds of numbers then yup. The key in all this is BTC.

Holders should in general care a lot less about timing perfect entries. If you believe in long-term success, the difference between let's say 180 or 220 is nothing.
