One was mostly dead after Defi Kingdom's Jewel got exploited and caused a run. That stupid game alone was 3/4 of their traffic during its peak.

Still have a small bag from when it was 9 cents. I wouldnt mind dumping more at 1 cent,

    Bridges overall are no bueno.

I might make a trade on monday, anticipating a 9.5+% cpi. I don't think the reconciliation bill will boost markets but will check the reaction for another short.

Man, take that to the Bitcoin thread (where it's already been posted a few months ago, I think. Or maybe it was in this thread.). :D

    Wow!

I have no idea what you are talking about and usually have a surface knowledge of most things.

    What the hell are bridges?

How do you exploit a Jewel?

$1.2 BILLION METAVERSE HORRIFIED BY REPORT IT ONLY HAD 38 ACTIVE USERS

In short, it's a perfect example of the kind of massive disparity between market value and actual users that has been plaguing the Web3 world for years, and could also be indicative of a serious slowdown in appetite for virtual real estate and other blockchain-related assets, including cryptocurrencies and NFTs.

    Similar to Helium network.

You have to build and market it for people to use it.

This is where a lot of these projects are struggling. Their core dev teams are phenomenal but they lack in the sales department. Devs are introverts and their worst nightmare is even dealing with extroverted PR types.

    It's not a marketing problem. It's a demand problem.

The metaverse is ahead of its time.

The technology that supports it is too expensive, unfriendly to use, and its quality of life improvements/feature-sets are just not worth the investment to climb the hills presented by problems 1 and 2.

There will come a day when this whole concept is as ubiquitous as cell phones, but that may be a long way off.

Zuck is betting his baby on surviving until that happens. He already sold off a chunk of his options, so bag holders will have to eat the difference of meta transitioning from a valuation of ads into expensive loss leading hardware.

I think we'll have a revulsion against VR (even AR) products until there's that "iphone moment" where useability/convenience meets technical capability. I guess that's somewhere between having the perks of oculus inside James Bond glasses.

After the horse is built and cheaply available/wanted, then maybe the "cart" of the metaverse follows. Apple didn't really plan out the App Store until Iphone usage was solid enough for them to open up their api to other devs. Before the app store, it was like a much friendlier Windows phone lol.

Maybe the gen between zoomers and the one after...Elder zoomers?

I don't disagree with you completely, but you could say the same thing about EVs. Marketing is essential to educate the public on the 'why'.
