You got Ron Artest for Christmas? Sweet! I had more fun giving my kids tons of stuff this year, but my bad ass wife got my awesome seats to see the Rockets in Portland.
Me and my wife have been having a $50-$60 limit for each other the past couple years. Really makes u put a lot of thought and care into ur gift choices. 2-3 gifts for $60. I got a $20 Amazon gift card, set of 4 star wars pint glasses, and POTApes Blu ray. Not a major haul, but all things I wanted. Gotta a great wife!
I got a box of deodorant and a grooming tool. Bleh, I love my family but that's not cool! I spend hundreds of bucks on gifts for them. Still love them Merry Christmas.
That would be useful, actually. It's like a swiss army knife with a nail clipper, tweezers, and little scissors on it. It's a small and hard to use version of things I already own.
I got a big green egg (that I picked up about a month ago), some grilling accessories a prime rib roast (thats cooking now) and the next week to spend with my wife and kids without having to work. Couldn't ask for more.
On the same boat as you. Spent hours gift hunting and hundreds on dollars on their gifts and found out that they bs-ed on mine. Got cheap cologne (I don't use cologne), a v-neck, and socks. Let's be honest, its not entirely all about the "thought that counts," you know you would like something decent.
In my opinion, the best way to enjoy a holiday, birthday, special occasion, or just a day in general:
Ah, Grasshopper, you were so close. The paradox of your post is that you won with your first sentence but lost with your second.
