What Current Players have you Frequently Criticized, But Hope Your Wrong About?

Seriously, I frequently criticized Dillon Brooks, or more accurately the signing of him. But I have been wrong so far. BUT it's still early. There's still a chance that I was right, and still hope that I was wrong.

 

Jalen Green.

I'm not very high on him but if he ever does put it together consistently, its best for the franchise.

 

Jalen Green, if he was good, we would have a good core with Sengun

 

All of them, what is this new day age p***y fan who doesn’t criticize his favorite teams players at some point?

How do you criticize Jalen's defense but miss Sengun's? Sengun's the worst defender but nobody seems to point this out

 

DB. I was thinking that Stone got rid of a head case only to get another one. So far, I am really glad that I have been wrong about the signing. I hope he continues to do what he is doing win or lose. As Alp stated, "I'm so happy!".

 

Nobody admitting they used to criticize Sengun frequently but now they hope they're wrong.
Why am I not surprised?
(Just one member writing some half-assed words to that effect, but in fact he's only praising Ime for hiding Sengun's weaknesses.)

 

Dillon Brooks, I hated the signing and I'm already coming around on it. I'm not ready to say "hallelujah, Ime fixed him!" based on just 13 games, but he has been great so far. Much better shooting than I expected, fewer shots, more ball movement. His three point percentage is still going to keep dropping, but that's okay. If he keeps up the way he's been playing for the next few years and just has league-average 3P% he'll have been a great signing when it's all said and done.

 

I'll admit defeat on Brooks, he needed to totally re-invent himself as a player to succeed and he's done just that.

Same concerns with Jabari and Jalen as always, if they can't shoot, they're busts, if they can, they're good for a combined 40 PPG on 60% TS%.

 

Jalen but i'm almost 100% sure that he's glorified Jordan Clarkson so unfortunately i'm probably right.

I recently adjusted my view of Jalen. Use to defend him but now i think those that complained about his shortcomings were right all along.

Hopefully i jumped ship too soon.

Jabari, i complain about at times but ive still got high hopes for him as a defender and shooter.
