i see a lot of yous wanting to come to australia...there's not much to see other than the opera house...habour bridge and an overpriced zoo and not to mention...the stinking 120 degree hot weather... my places to visit: russia houston, texas italy and uruguay
Howabout the Great Barrier Reef, Ayers Rock, Bondi Beach, tropical Brisbane, Tasmania, Koala bears, Kangaroos and lets not forget Russell Crowe beating the crap out of random people. From what I hear there's lots to see in Australia. Don't sell your country short.
Plus, there's all the beautiful Aussie babes. I've yet to visit Australia, but I've met several Australians during trips to Europe. Great, great people!
In my study almost everybody goes to a foreign country for their internship(or for a research). People have been in the US, Japan, South Africa, ghana, Zanzibar(Tanzania), Brazil, Bolivia, Mongolia etc. But Australia is one of the most popular. of my closest friends(about 7), 4 have gone or are in Austalia. They all like it. However Australia is not really on my list. But if i ever get enough money, who knows.
I can't understand Aussie Jack selling Australia short, is an amazing place and one in which many who visit often want to stay. Perth is beautiful, not the place most tourists think of when they look at coming to Australia but has the best beaches. I'm hanging out to finally make it over to America
We are showing TV ad made by Australia Tourism Board here in Hong Kong. I like it very much: a cute Aussie Babe in bikini on an empty beach asking me "What the bloody hell are you waiting for?". Not sure if they show the same ad in other places.
That is Lara Bingle. She has "allegedly" broken up two sportsman's relationships over the last 3 months. One with a top AFL player and the other with one of the top cricketers in the country.
maybe i've grown complacent about living in such a beautiful country...but australia certainly has it's shortcomings...conrulla riots (lebanese vs aussie riot)...redfern riots (aborigines vs police riot)...macquarie field riots (white lower class vs police riot)...3 major street riots in the last two years all caused by the government failure to solve socio-economic problems...then there's the 30% dam levels and abysmal public transport...the australian government have worked hard to keep these events from foreign press...and i read in the paper the other day that 3000 tourists have died in australia in the last 7 years..."so where the bloody hell are you?"
