Ya 42 free throw attempts is sure fundamental mistakes. Once they get beat we foul them. Our offensive plays down the stretch are HORRIBLE.
Our offense really needs to step up in the 4th, that is for sure. How are you gonna look good the whole game, and then crumble in the 4th? THey are to good for that... Well at least I hope..
Ermm there you go the truth hurts biatches ........ We traded the heart and soul of our team. Just when we groom ourselves a closer picked at the 2nd round ..... Scola production might have ballonned up since the trade but with him, we could share the duty, body stress together and heck Landry > Scola defensively .... Ah the ScolaLandry
Yea and the Memphis Grizzlies are doing soo much better than us? If anything that pisses me off right now is the fact that Brandon Roy is not a Houston Rocket.
Why shouldn't he go there, you did practically the same talking about trades we did or didn't do years ago. We can also bring up Damon Stoudamire, or the Barkley trade. all irrelevant now. That being said your point also doesn't make sense. You are saying the thing we are missing is a scoring 3? You are aware that our defense is the reason we are losing right? Not our offense. You do not need a scorer at every position, you need more players who can play defense.
How about Gay's 20M contract? You act like he's playing for free. All he'd have done here is lose games his first few years and then be paid max money when he became a decent player.
how do you know he would have developed into the player he is now here with houston? there are too many unknowns, everyone wishes to have someone, do you think Gay would have gotten the ball with Tmac and Yao being the go to players? It is to hard to predict, hence we traded to get battier for denfense since that is what we needed at the time. Sucks that Gay developed so nicely but no one has a magic ball.
Yup, no one knew at the time Tmac would fall apart 1-2 years later. They knew he was injury prone but not that he had another couple years left to his career. I'm sure if they knew this, we would have stuck with Gay so he could develop into the scorer he is now and become our perimeter player. True though, if we kept gay and not traded landry, we would be a better team. Not so much because we have gay over battier but we would still have landry since we wouldn't have needed to trade for martin to provide scoring.
Pau Gasol? The one who led one of the most untalented teams in the league to multiple playoff appearances while in Memphis, despite playing in a loaded western conference? He won 50 games with Shane Battier as the second best player on his team.
