Man i've been reading all this conspiracy/paranormal business all day and there are some seriously strange things-- natural and otherwise going on...A sample:

The Stone Spheres
of Costa Rica
One of the strangest mysteries in archaeology was discovered in the Diquis Delta of Costa Rica. Since the 1930s, hundreds of stone balls have been documented, ranging in size from a few centimetres to over two meters in diameter. Some weigh 16 tons. Almost all of them are made of granodiorite, a hard, igneous stone. These objects are monolithic sculptures made by human hands.
The stones may have come from the bed of the Térraba River , to where they were transported by natural processes from sources of parent material in the Talamanca mountains. Unfinished spheres were never found. Like the monoliths of the Old World, the Costa Rican quarry was more than 50 miles away from the final resting place of these mysteries.

"The Sky Has Split Apart"
The Cosmic Mystery of the Century
The explosions were heard in the early morning hours of June 30, 1908. It was a drama that has occurred countless times in Earth's history, and that is sure to play again.
Those Tungus tribesmen and Russian fur traders who happened to glance into the southeastern Siberian sky that fateful morning must have been startled to see a fireball streaking through the atmosphere toward their trading post of Vanavara and leaving a trail of light some 800 kilometers long. The object, whatever its nature, was approaching from an azimuth of 115 degrees and descending at an entry angle of 30 to 35 degrees above the horizon. Their gaze followed the bright fireball as it continued along a northwestward trajectory until it seemed about to disappear over the horizon. Then it shattered in a rapid series of cataclysmic explosions lasting about half a second over a distance of 15 to 20 kilometers.
The site was centered on 101 E by 62 N near the Stony Tunguska River 92 kilometers north of Vanavara. According to calculations, the object shattered at an altitude of 7.6 kilometers2 and became the first such cosmic visitor to strike Earth in the life time of civilized man. For a trained eye, evidence of the blast is not difficult to identify, even after 90 years. The power of the blast felled trees outward in a radial pattern over an area of 2,1504 square kilometers, more than half the size of Rhode Island. In the hot central region of the epicenter the forest flashed into an ascending column of flame visible several hundred kilometers away.
The fires burned for weeks, destroying an area of 1,000 square kilometers. Ash and powdered tundra fragments sucked skyward by the fiery vortex were caught up in the global air circulation and carried around the world. Meanwhile, bursts of thunder echoed across the land to a distance of some 800 kilometers.5
The mass of the object has been estimated at about 100,000 tons and the force of the explosion at 40 megatons of TNT, 2,000 times the force of the atomic bomb exploded over Hiroshima in 1945. (By comparison, the explosive force of the Arizona asteroid that struck some 50,000 years ago, has been estimated at 3.5 megatons.6)

The Enigma Of Coral Castle -
A Geomantic Wonder
"I have discovered the secrets of the pyramids, and have found out how the Egyptians and the ancient builders in Peru, Yucatan, and Asia, with only primitive tools, raised and set in place blocks of stone weighing many tons!" So declared Edward Leedskalnin, a Latvian eccentric, who concocted a method of single-handedly erecting massive quarried stone resulting in the enigma that is Coral Castle.
Often equated with the engineering feats of Stonehenge, and the Great Pyramid of Egypt, Coral Castle is set on a ten-acre tract of land just south of Miami, Florida. Originally located in the tiny town of Florida City in the l920's, the site was later moved to it's current location. Much of the site is calibrated to celestial alignments, including an ingenious thirty ton telescope, towering twenty five feet above the complex, perfectly aligned to the North Star. A working sundial, calibrated to noon of the Winter and Summer Solstice, is so accurate it tells time within two minutes!
An area known as the "moon pond," comprised of three 18-ton pieces of coral, represents the first quarter, last quarter, and the full moon. Nearby stand Mars (which Ed believed sustained life), and a ringed Saturn - each the size of an automobile. An obelisk taller then the great monolith at Stonehenge, stretches 40' toward the sky, weighing 57,000 pounds! A series of concentric coral circles is said to represent the solar system. In total, Ed quarried over eleven hundred TONS of coral rock for his Castle, using tools fashioned from wrecking-yard junk, never revealing how he managed to rise, and position, the massive coral blocks that make up the compound. An air of mystery surrounded his two story monolith, known as the tower, which housed his workshop and living quarters which no one was permitted to enter.

The Mystery Pit of Oak Island
Imagine yourself walking through the trees of a wooded island rumored to hide buried pirate treasure. Suddenly you come across a depression in the ground. It's roughly circular and there's a tree standing above it with a branch that has been cut and appears to have been used as a pulley. Your imagination is fired and hope soars. You run off to get your friends and digging equipment.
Now imagine that it's more than 200 years later. The pit has been explored to more than 150 feet. The treasure, if any, that was buried is still there, protected by an ingenious booby trap that floods the pit with sea water anytime someone gets close.
Group after group after group have tried to solve the riddle. Neither brute force nor technology have been able to overcome the problems. Six lives have been lost and millions of dollars spent trying to uncover the secrets of what has become known as the Money Pit. Still, no one knows what lies at the bottom, who built it or why. There are numerous theories but little proof.
This is the story of Oak Island, Nova Scotia, one the most frustrating and intriguing mysteries of all time.

The Mystery of Ball Lightning
Bizarre, personal encounters with the most puzzling of all weather phenomena.
There currently is no fully satisfactory or generally accepted scientific theory for ball lightning, mainly because it is so rare, and when it does occur it doesn’t stay around long enough to be studied; it generally has a lifetime of less than five seconds. According to one researcher, “ball lightning is the name given to the mobile luminous spheres which have been observed during thunderstorms. Visual sightings are often accompanied by sound, odor, and permanent material damage.” Many scientists still deny its existence, but there are so many eyewitness accounts of the phenomenon that it’s difficult to deny its reality.
It’s these personal encounters with ball lighting that have given it its mysterious reputation. Many eyewitnesses describe its movement or “behavior” as seemingly intelligent, as if it knows where it wants to go.

Easter Island
It is one of the most isolated islands in the world but 1200 years ago a double-hulled canoe filled with seafarers from a distant culture landed upon its shores. Over the centuries that followed a remarkable society developed in isolation on the island. For reasons still unknown they began carving giant statues out of volcanic rock. These monuments, known, as "moai" are some of the most incredible ancient relics ever discovered. The people of Easter Island called themselves the Rapa Nui. Where did they come from and why did they disappear?

Atlantis: Where is the Lost Continent?
The legend of the lost civilization of Atlantis comes to us primarily from an account recorded by Plato, the great Greek philosopher and author, around 370 B.C.E. He described it as a beautiful continent-sized island that existed somewhere to the west of the Mediterranean, by most interpretations. It was a peaceful land, prosperous from its flourishing commerce, highly advanced in knowledge and technology, and powerful in its governmental influence. After many years of prosperity, however, the gods looked unfavorably upon the island nation because of its arrogant rulers and complacent citizenry, and they condemned it. In just one dreadful day and night, Plato tells us, Atlantis was completely destroyed by catastrophic flooding and disappeared beneath the sea.
Off the Coast of Cuba
In May, 2001, an astounding discovery was made off the coast of Cuba. An ocean engineer named Paulina Zelitsky, while conducting ocean sonar research for Advanced Digital Communications, imaged something she could hardly believe. She told a reporter for Reuters: ""We are the first people ever to see the bottom of Cuban waters over 50 meters. It's so exciting. We are discovering... even possibly a sunken city built in the pre-classic period and populated by an advanced civilization similar to the early Teotihuacan culture of Yucatan."
Incredibly, the sunken city lies on the floor of the ocean at a depth of about 2,200 feet.
This is an incredible and potentially history-altering discovery. And it was made not by some lone diver or amateur organization. This find was made by scientists. And today no less an organization than the National Geographic Society has become involved and is investigating the site.

Kirlian Photography isn't really any sort of mystery, just one of those bizarre sciences you never really here anything about.

Kirlian Photography is a process that uses pulsed high voltage frequencies & electron cascades to take pictures of usually invisible, radiating energy fields that surround us all.
Semyon Kirlian discovered a fascinating photographic phenomenon in the 1930s back in the U.S.S.R. While servicing a high voltage machine 60 years ago he was accidentally exposed to a harmless electron cascade. A visible aura was seen around his hands which he later captured on film. A Russian bio-physicist came up with the theory of bio-plasma to explain the Kirlian effect as it was called. Bio-plasma is explained as a stream of sub-atomic particles that move in and out of living tissue and it was claimed that it could reveal important information about life processes.
