It's a good thing they are having it at the Woodlands. Because when the cheesy pyrotechnics go off you should be able to make it out alive.
I've got matchbox twenty tickets 11th row center stage for Alltel Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!! My life will finally be complete~!!!
Im trying to find a ride and money to get into Atreyu, Eighteen Visions, Lamb of God, and Chamaira next Saturday. Somebody loan me 12 bucks.
lollapalooza, here in chicago. my only gripe is that it's at the tweeter center chicago, which is the worst concert venue i have ever been to. oh, and the $60 for lawn tickets hurt, too.
Nevermind...I just found it! They will be in H-town! August, September and October will bring the end of summer, the beginning of fall, and a co-headlining tour featuring '70s rock behemoths KISS and Aerosmith. The veteran rockers have tapped fledgling rock outfit Saliva to open. Tickets for the run will begin hitting box offices on April 26, according to the tour's promoter, Clear Channel Entertainment. On Friday night (4/18), Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Tom Hamilton will join KISS anchormen Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley during a special 90-minute radio program that will air on radio stations throughout the U.S. The broadcast is slated to begin at 10 p.m. Eastern Time, 7 p.m. Pacific, according to a press release. In addition to revealing the details about their summer tour, the groups' members will also be playing music from their respective--and sizeable--catalogs, and taking calls from fans. A list of the cities and stations where the program will air appears on Aerosmith's website. Aerosmith spent much of 2001 and 2002 on the road in support of 2001's "Just Push Play." The group is expected to release a "blues type album" some time this year, according to the group's fan club, Aero Force One. In March of 2000, the original KISS lineup launched what it called its "Farewell Tour." The group has toured on and off ever since. By early 2002, KISS founders Stanley (vocals, guitar) and Simmons (vocals, bass) had replaced original members Peter Criss (drums, vocals) and Ace Frehley (guitar, vocals) with musicians who wore Criss's and Frehley's costumes and make-up. Criss has since rejoined the group, while guitarist Tommy Thayer continues to portray Frehley's spaceman character. Memphis quintet Saliva is touring behind its second major-label release, last November's "Back Into Your System." I'm going with my church to a Christian music festival in Bushnell, Ill. called Cornerstone. Sounds like its going to be a blast.
Because Good Charlotte and New Found Glory will be playing. Just kidding, man. I'll be going to my 12th Weezer concert if they hurry up and finish their new album and tour. The Police reunion tour...wishfull thinking, I know, but I'd be willing to sell everything I own for a ticket to that one.
Jur. 5 at the Woodlands, baby. If I have to see another Lifehouse/Matchbox 20 with my girlfriend again I think I will die. I hate teen alt music.
finalsbound-I've never heard matchbox twenty being called "teen alt" before. I could understand if someone just didn't like matchbox twenty, but teen alt?
Man, I don't go to that many shows MadMax...it's normally just DMB. coma, I don't believe so. This Jack Johnson is a surfer/filmmaker/musician, who I believe only has one solo cd. Drewdog, I don't think I have an extra ticket. I may have one to the Ben Harper show if you wanna come up here. Zac Maloy is the former lead singer of The Nixons.
hopefully i'll be going to DMB at the woodlands. i wish i could go to the ben harper/jack johnson concert. that would be sweet... but hey, my fraternity is trying to get O.A.R. to come play for us hopefully in the fall, but probably next spring. those guys f*ckin rock!!
Dude, if you get OAR to play, you HAVE to tell me!!! OAR is one of the most exciting bands I've come across in quite some time!! Well, I haven't quite figured out all the shows I'm going to, but I do know I'll be at 4 to 5 DMB shows and hopefully the Eagles show here in Houston. I'm considering going to Bonnaroo, but I don't know anyone who will go with me, and I'm not going alone.
